Ron Jon Surf Shop
When you walk through the doors of Ron Jon Surf Shop, if you're not already a surfer you'll wanna be. The store, opened in 1963, has over 52,000 square feet of multi-leveled surfer's paradise. It features its own waterfall and glass elevator. There's a huge selection of surfboards, bikinis and surf brand clothes not to mention all the souvenirs, beach & surf gear, resort wear and of course a world famous T-shirt. Ron Jon Surf Shop is open 24 hours every day - like the beach, so there's no excuse not to stop by this one of a kind surf shop known around the world.
Ron Jon has a museum dedicated to surfing and a surf school behind the shop along with a scuplture garden. It also has a sister store in Ship Bottom, New Jersey which opened in 1961. It's estimated that over two million people visit Jon Ron in Cocoa Beach every year.

Now not only is there the surf shop but Ron Jon has branched out, the Ron Jon Cape Caribe Resort, is now open in Cape Canaveral on the beach. It boasts a 248 foot Water Slide and Lazy River Ride, miniature Golf and a heated pool. They have a fabulous restaurant and a picnic area.

The Ron Jon Surf Park is due to open in Orlando at the Festival Bay Mall. Some of the things it will feature are a football field-sized main wave pool capable of producing 4-8 ft. waves with rides of up to 100 yards, it will also feature a training pool capable of producing 3-4 ft. waves with rides up to 35 yards for beginners.There will also be a boogie board pool that produces smaller swells. Ron Jon Surfpark will also host a surfing school, a pro shop, a restaurant and equipment rentals.
