Flagler Beach Pier

Previous Image Gallery Home Next Image
Part of the charm of Flagler Beach is its pier. Flagler Beach Municipal Pier was first built in 1925 and has become the best known landmark in the county. The big 'Flagler Beach' emblazoned across the roof of the Pier Restaurant is and has been a draw to the pier for a long time and is arguably the most familiar sign on the beach. The original pier was about 1,000 feet long but the Atlantic Ocean has seen fit to knock it down a time or two so now the pier extends just over 800 feet out into the water. The pier is one of Flagler County's hottest fishing spots; it has its own tackle shop for all you fishing needs. After a long, hot day of fishing stop in at the Flagler Pier Restaurant. Their menu consists of seafood, of course, and other American cuisine and they are open for breakfast, lunch and dinner. It's situated at the end of Flagler Pier and has large plate glass windows that give you nice views of the ocean and the beach; parking is on the street along A1A.
