South Beach Wine & Food Festival benefits Florida International University
May 30th, 2007The 2007 Food Network South Beach Wine & Food Festival raised over $1.4 million for Florida International University’s School of Hospitality and Tourism Management program. According to FIU’s dean, Joseph J. West, a majority of the proceeds will benefit the expansion of the school’s existing dining room into a full service Teaching Restaurant. Students are also given priceless volunteer experience by working alongside the world’s most celebrated chefs. The 2008 Food Network South Beach Wine & Food Festival will take place February 21-24.
