Florida to Celebrate the Fourth with a Bang!

All across Florida this Fourth of July there will be red rockets a glaring a bombs a bursting with fireworks displays nearly everywhere. Here’s a selected list of events across the state.
Altamonte Springs, Red Hot and Boom will feature nine hit performing artists including Katharine McPhee of American Idol and an amazing 25-minute musically choreographed pyrotechnics display. This celebration will take place on July 3, 2007.
In Cocoa Beach, Ron Jon Surf Shop will be hosting one of the largest fireworks displays on Florida’s east coast with live entertainment by Bay Fireworks. This pyrotechnics extravaganza will begin at 9 p.m. on Wednesday, July 4 at Shepard Park.
Cocoa Beach celebrates the 4th of July boat parade (PDF) will begin at 10 a.m. on July 4th at marker 101.
In historic Cocoa Village, enjoy a fabulous fireworks presentation while the Brevard Symphony Orchestra plays a large assortment of traditional patriotic selections in the background. The Brevard Symphony Orchestra takes the stage at 8:00 pm on July 4th.
Daytona Beach parties on the forty with Red, White & Boom Fourth of July Family Celebration will be a day-long event with activities including patriotic sculpture, Pespi interactive and inflatable games, and live musical performances by the Drifters and more!
In Key West, the annual Crime Stoppers Forth of July Run starts at 7:30 a.m. at Smathers Beach. In the evening, you can opt to view the firework show in luxury on a three-hour boat cruise complete with food and beverage or on land, where the 13th Army Band will play at the White Street Pier. The Independence Day Concert will begin at 6:00 p.m., followed by a fireworks presentation.
Over in Kissimmee, the city will feature a free concert by Eddie Money at its July Fourth Celebration. The fanfare and fireworks display with light up the sky over Big Lake Toho, immediately following the musical concert. The event will begin at 5:00 p.m.
In Melbourne, a morning Independence Day Parade will begin at 10:00 a.m. Several performing groups, including Space Coast Pops will play in the afternoon before the community fireworks display with laser light show at 9:00 p.m.
In Miami, musical guests J.J. and the Connection, Giovanni, and the Miami-Dade Symphonic Band will be performing at this spectacular Independence Day event held at Amelia Earhart Park July 4th, at 4:00 p.m.
At CityWalk in Orlando, blow out your 4th of July at Universal by attending Jimmy Buffet’s Margaritaville 4th of July Party or optionally choosing to enjoy the live music, entertainment, and games on CityWalk.
In South Beach, IndepenDANCE 4th of July Pool Party hosted by DJ Roger Sanchez will be held at the Surfcomber Hotel starting at 11 a.m.
To th north in Tallahassee, Celebrate America at Tom Brown Park with fireworks, pony rides, and a Nashville recording artist at 3:30 p.m. July 4th.
