Guests will revel in the innovative music of the powerful lineup featured at Rock the Universe 2007. On Friday night, the event features Grammy-award winners Casting Crowns and Jars of Clay, rap combo Grits, punk rock group Family Force 5 and Christian chart-toppers MercyMe and Hawk Nelson. On Saturday night Grammy-award winner tobyMac, pop/punk rock group Relient K, along with Jeremy Camp, Pocket Full of Rocks, The Afters and Skillet wrap up the action-packed weekend.

This year’s event includes special guests Bethany Hamilton and Daren Streblow. After losing her arm in a shark attack, Bethany Hamilton, 17, now travels around the world to share her story and inspire youth. Daren Streblow is an in-demand comic for schools, youth rallies, and churches and is also featured in the nationwide Funny People of Faith Tour. Popular speakers David Nassar, Dr. Jay Strack and Brent Crowe will also share their personal testimonies.

A unique and uplifting addition to Rock the Universe 2007 is the Sunday Morning Worship Service to be held Sunday, September 9 at 10 a.m. The non-denominational service will feature praise and worship music, a special appearance by Bethany Hamilton, and a speaker from the Christian Surfers United States. Admission to the worship service is free with any Rock the Universe ticket and advance reservations are required at www.rocktheuniverse.com.
