Daytona Beach, FL - Welcome once again to the time of year bikers have been waiting for all summer long. Biketoberfest, Oct 16-19, is popular for the party on Main Street and the many events outside Daytona. Here are some of the more popular events at your favorite places including Dirty Harry’s, The Cabbage Patch, Boot Hill Saloon and others featuring music, babes and bikes.
Biketoberfest Events on Main Street
Dirty Harry’s will feature two bands this year the KGB Band and Disposable Heroes. Wet t-shirt contests begin daily at 2:00pm, 3:30pm(new time) 5:00pm and 7:00pm. www.dirtyharrysdaytona.com
Boot Hill Saloon will feature live music by Southern Rocks Finest, Supertzar (The ‘Ultimate’ Black Sabbath Tribute Band), Dave Kelly Band and more, Big Engine also returns this year. There is never a cover change and several liquors will be featured on different nights like Jager, Captain Morgan and Jose Cuervo, come meet their girls and the Captain. There will be a Bikini contest on Friday so be sure to check out both their Main Street and Ormond Beach locations. www.boothillsaloon.com
Bank & Blues Club will again this year feature live entertainment from the Razorbacks, Toots Lorraine & the Traffic and Jokers Wild are also scheduled to perform. www.thebankdaytona.com
Full Moon Saloon features great bands nightly, this year Rebel Pride, Sixty Watt Sun, Crush Band, Kid Ridlyn Band and Money Shot are scheduled to appear. You’ll also see Florida’s Hottest Bartenders, and best buns contests. www.fullmoonsaloondaytona.com
Gilly’s Pub 44 Riverfront will host live bands, contests, prizes, lots of cold beer, full liquor and more.
Biketoberfest Events Outside Daytona
The Cabbage Patch in nearby New Smyrna Beach is starting the party a day early, their Kick-Off Party is scheduled to take place Wednesday October 15 from 4:00pm - 2:00am. The rest of the events include T-back pulls, Bikini Contests, Wet T-Shirt Contests, Live Music and Hot Buns Contests. The Cole Slaw Wrestling will be Saturday at noon. www.sopotnickscabbagepatch.com
Destination Daytona in nearby Ormond Beach will include hundreds of vendors, Bikini Contest, live music, Kansas and Jo Dee Messina are scheduled to appear this year, and drink specials. www.destinationdaytona.com
This year try Finnegan’s Tavern also in Ormond Beach for a party. With over 3 acres of space there is plenty of room to park your bike and party. Come and enjoy the bikini calendar contest, live music from the tribute bands Dirty Hairy and The AC/DC Tribute, vendors, cold beer & full liquor plus BBQ & smoked meats.
