Set on 150 acres, this park-like theme park sits on the footprint of Florida's original theme park, Cypress Gardens. In the wake of Cypress Garden's storied past, LEGOLAND Florida rises up to mix past with present as charmingly as a grandchild running into the waiting arms of a grandparent.

Divided into 10 themed zones and accompanied by a portion of Cypress Gardens, LEGOLAND Florida caters to 2 - 12 year olds. However Moms, dads, brothers, sisters, grandmas and grandpas will find themselves welcome as well.

Inspired and built with LEGO bricks of many colors, more than 50 rides, shows and attractions come to life along side the original botanical garden.

    Rides

    Technic Coaster at Legoland

At the heart of every theme park are the rides and LEGOLAND Florida has designed its rides for the kids in the family.

FORD Driving School at LOGOLAND Florida Island in the Sky lifts guests above the trees for a 360 degree view of the park and surrounding area. The Grand Carousel brings LEGO horses to a double-decker Carousel like Grandma and Grandpa remember. These delights are found in The Beginning and Fun Town, where the whimsy begins.

Little ones in the family will laugh with delight at DUPLO Village's Grannies Jalopies and Junior Fire Brigade along with flying a plane, driving a car and experiencing life around a town that is just their size.

Prince and Princesses delight at LEGO Kingdoms, home to The Royal Joust, a horse-ride through the countryside, and Merlin's Challenge. The brave can take on The Dragon, an indoor-outdoor rollercoaster run around the castle.

    Legoland Roller Coaster Ride

Adventurers beware, a journey awaits in the Land of Adventures, where Coastersauras takes you on a rollercoaster ride through the land of dinosaurs. Go into the dark and take on the ancient ruins of Egypt in Lost Kingdom Adventure, where you fire your blasters and save the day. For those seeking animal adventures, Safari Trek lets you drive your own safari jeep as you search for elephants, ostrich, and lions.

    LEGO New York City

Kids dream of "being a grownup" and in LEGO City they can get a taste of it. Ford Driving School and Ford Jr. Driving School let kids get behind the wheel of their very own car. Taking to the "city streets" they'll stop, go, and turn corners just like in a real car. Afterwards, new drivers can get their own LEGO drivers license.

    Aquazone Wave Racing

Adventurous kids can also learn to drive a boat at Boating School or feel like flying at Flight School. Future firefighters play at LEGO City Rescue Academy, competing against other teams to be the first to put out the "blaze."

Kid Power Towers Kid Power Towers get the energy pumping when kids and adults pull themselves to the top of the tower, then let go and ride down in a "free fall" to the bottom.

Those who love thrilling "pink knuckle" rides will enjoy LEGO Technic, home to LEGO Technic Test Track, a car-like roller coaster that gets you close to the edge. AQUAZONE Wave Racers lets riders dodge the water-blasts from kid-powered blasters and zoom over the water surface in their own wave racer.

    Shows and Attractions

Miniland USA, the heart of any LEGOLAND, is where you'll see many of the more than 50 million LEGOs that were used to build LEGOLAND Florida's displays of Florida, Las Vegas, Washington DC, New York City, California, and Pirate Shores.

    LEGO Washington DC

Don't miss the action within New York's theatre district, the cat lady on top of her home in San Francisco, the marching band at the U.S. Capitol, or the fun and playful action of Key West, Florida, the racing action at Daytona International Speedway or realistic Space Shuttle launch at Kennedy Space Center.

    LEGO Key West

The Wells Fargo Town Theatre offers a 4D movie center with three different 4D movies showing throughout the day in Fun Town. The Big Test Live Show in LEGO City puts future fire fighters to the test in this live show event. Watch as they bounce and jump their way through the Test.

    The Battle for Brickbeard's Bounty!

Argh, Matey, its Pirate's Cove! Pirates have been spotted along the shore of Lake Eloise, where a live-action show has them battling LEGO soldiers and a Princess to save the day. "The Battle for Brickbeard's Bounty!" is a zipping, zooming water-ski show in Pirate's Cove.

At the heart of every theme park are the rides and LEGOLAND Florida has designed its rides for the kids in the family.

    Dining and Shopping

    LEGOLAND Store

A variety of dining and shopping opportunities can be found throughout LEGOLAND Florida.

    LEGO Kingdoms

The Big Shop offers plenty of LEGO items for sale while The Market Restaurant offers a variety of food and drink delights at The Beginning.

In LEGO Kingdoms enjoy something tasty at Castle Burger or if you're little ones prefer pirates, invade Capt. Brickbeard's Burger's in Pirate's Cove. Overlooking Lake Eloise, the Lakeside Sandwich Co. brings a variety of fresh food offerings to the table.

    Legoland Ride 2

Fun Town Pizza and Pasta brings a taste of Italy buffet-style to LEGOLAND Florida, while in Imagination Zone The Fried Chicken Co. delights with its secret recipe chicken.

For a tasty and fun treat, visit Granny's Apple Fries, a LEGOLAND original, where Granny Smith apple fries are dusted with cinnamon and sugar and served with a vanilla cream dipping sauce. Yum!

Pick A Brick, LEGO Studios and Extreme Zone gives you the opportunity to take home LEGO memories to let your day of exploration linger on.

    Cypress Gardens

    Brickbeard's Water Skiers

PlaytownOnce a favorite of "old Florida," Cypress Gardens was known to generations for the beauty of its gardens and Belles who walked the paths in their Southern Belle hoop skirts. This treasured part of Old Florida remains the footprint of LEGOLAND Florida and guests can once again wander the garden paths and under the spectacular Banyon tree, it was planted in 1939 and is still a centerpiece for what once was and is again.

Have your picture taken with the only LEGO-built piece here, the Belle. Then sweep your eyes up the grassy hill to the gazebo where yesterday and today blend as sweetly as a flower's scent on a breeze.

LEGOLAND Florida is located in Winter Haven.
