On the southern end of Anna Maria Island on Florida's Gulf Coast is Longboat Pass. Coquina Beach on the northern side of the inlet has large parking areas, lifeguards and public restrooms with showers. The bay side of Coquina is popular with jet skiers, and host a boat launch.
