I loved this studio, however, I’m a hot yoga lover and it breaks my heart this studio doesn’t offer it. Still, this studio deserves 5 stars. Sarah is amazing and her presence is very peaceful and encouraging. Love how she strives to keep students warm and safe! I hope to make my way back one day!
I used to frequent Red Sun for years because it was the closest studio to my house. I established a wonderful rapport with all of the students that went there. Some of the teachers like Violet and Ashley were truly pivotal in my journey. Alison the owner was really All-Inclusive and welcoming . But the owner Sarah that remains to this day and a couple of the teachers that have thankfully left now were very snobby and unwelcoming. Sarah was extremely snobby. She alienated me and made me feel like I didn’t belong. It was actually very detrimental to my mental health. I tried to express how important going to the studio was for me and just wanting to be made to feel comfortable. I know the studio has changed a lot and I’m hoping for the better and I’m hoping Sara has humbled herself because her snobby self-righteous demeanor ruined that studio for a lot of people.
Although I have not attended classes at Red Sun Yoga Studio, I am thankful that a friend invited my sister and me to join her for the 2023 Red Sun Yoga retreat in Lucca, Italy. From the excellent pre-trip communications to the final departure from the villa it was a well-planned and enriching adventure for which Sarah Morgan, the studio owner, took care of all the details. In addition to twice daily yoga practice, we enjoyed a lovely villa with grounds for hiking, relaxing, sketching, reading, journaling and just enjoying nature. The yoga instructors, Sarah and Courtney, made students of all levels feel comfortable and safe in their practices.
Delicious gourmet meals were prepared by an executive chef and her staff. The trip included meals and local wine, a bike tour of the town of Lucca and excursions to a local winery and the Cinque Terre. Many optional activities such as onsite massages and a cooking class were also available. The hosts fostered an atmosphere that allowed attendees to interact as much or as little as they liked.
From lazy afternoons sitting around the table under the Tuscan sun with new friends to late night sharing of stories and secrets it was a remarkable experience. They might say what happens in Italy stays in Italy, but I know one thing that does not! That’s fine yoga experiences. This retreat has convinced me to become a client of Red Sun Yoga Studio. Looking forward to seeing you again!
I’ve only been once so far, but I already love it! I did one of the gentle classes with Ariel – it was very relaxing but still a good deep stretch. I feel like my body and mind are realigned now and I have more energy the next day which is exactly what I was looking for!! I will definitely be returning.
