I had an amazing 2-second experience at Eyeglass World on 10224 E Adamo Drive, Tampa! I walked in with a pair of Gucci glasses that I hadn’t purchased there, hoping they could repair them. Fernando greeted me warmly, took my glasses, and within less than a minute, brought them back completely fixed, no hassle, no fuss no Cost! I was amazed by the speed and professionalism. Highly recommend this place for incredible customer service! Thank you, Fernando!

I took my mom to their office to get the exam for HARD contact lenses on January 27th. I understand that it’s a special case because the hard contact lenses are not popular anymore, but my mom is in her sixties and she has been wearing them since she was eight years old. A few weeks before, I had my appointment for my new prescription and I asked them if they were able to order hard contact lenses and they said yes. In my mom’s appointment, they told us to schedule another appointment for further measurements they needed for the hard contact lenses, and we did. That same day we paid 120 dollars for the fitting fee and were told that the doctor would order the trials, but she never did. Weeks passed and every time I called to check on the status of the order, they told me to call when the doctor was supossed to be there because she was the only person that could order them. Every time I called when they told me to because the doctor was scheduled to be there, she either called out or was not there for another reason. Last time I called, someone from another store answered the phone and told me that doctors don’t place any orders. In the end, I had to scheduled another appointment for the exam because the first doctor who did the exam was on “leave” and they couldn’t use that prescription. Her last appointment was on March 15th, almost 2 months after the first appointment. That same day, we received a call saying that this type of contacts don’t have trials and that we had to pay 705 dollars to order the first pack that lasts only a year. I was told something different the first time I was there, and of course, my mom cannot afford to pay that amount for the contacts. I requested the 120 dollars back because my mom was not getting anything, the prescription nor the trials. Another reason for the refund was due to the fact they never mentioned the price for the contacts (they didn’t know, they said), all the time I spent calling them checking for the status of the contacts, and because we were not getting anything. Of course, they didn’t refund us, even after talking to corporate (talked to Martha) and the manager (Giselle) because they said it was part of the exam. I understood that, but we were also not getting a prescription. Last time I tried to talk to them, they hung up the phone.

I hope you don’t have to have the same experience.
