Came here to try out their open gym for Adult Gymnastics & Adult stretching & it was great! Coach Caroline & Coach Flip were both really nice and it was so fun to get to bring back my childhood memories of doing gymnastics. It was definitely a great, fun workout & I can’t wait to come back!!
I brought my 3 year old to a class which stated a female would be the coach. I show up and there’s a male teacher. Ok. He takes the 3 and 4 year old girls over to the corner and then proceeds to have each girl sit in his lap while he rocked them back and forth. I look for someone to address the matter to but there’s a young male at the desk and another male instructor who didn’t seem there. Will never return
Staff is very friendly. I have a 5 year old beginner and they are very patient and make it exciting for them to learn new skills and correct technique
I signed my children up for a summer camp. The website showcasing the camp highlighted a schedule that included 2 hours of gymnastics instruction. The camp DID NOT offer gymnastic instruction.
When I arrived to pick my children up the first day my daughter was attempting front handsprings without a spotter and landing on her back. She informed me that she had been doing this all day without supervision. This is extremely dangerous and she ended up with a sore back for days.
When I called after my children told me they weren’t learning gymnastics I was told by the owner that they 1. they didn’t realize the schedule was on the website and that they aren’t teaching gymnastics 2. It was too expensive to hire gymnastic instructors for the camp, so they hired high school girls ( who were on their phones) to run the camp, but they had no gynmastics experience. The theme of the week was break dancing, so the programming consisted of showed a 30 minute video about dancing daily. This is basically a daycare, however I am assuming a daycare requires more qualifications.
I did not return for the remainder of the week because I feared for my children’s safety. If you are looking to spent $250 a week for daycare with teenagers running the program who spend their time on social media this is a good fit. If you are looking for a gymnastics camp, they don’t offer it.
We had our son’s 2nd birthday here and it far exceeded our expectations! Coach Drew and Coach Flip were so interactive with a wide range of kids and made the activities so fun!! The gym is huge and had ton of equipment for all ages and skill levels and everyone had a great time. I would definitely recommend for any future event!!
