Nice thrift store . Some great prices. Clothing and furniture seems a little high. Big selection of clothes. Well laid out. We will be back
Disappointed at best.
I was looking for quality items and it seems like the bottom of the bottom.
Maybe people don’t know about it so they don’t donate much here? But I was disappointed for sure
Awesome place with good prices and even better sales. One of the better Thrift stores. Should be rated much higher.
There is a very good selection of items here. Most things tend to be about 20% over garage sale prices, which is completely reasonable. The staff here are nice and helpful.
Disappointing Experience at Life’s Treasures Thrift Store
I’ve given this store multiple chances, but the experience is consistently disappointing. The pricing is outrageous—about 90% of the items are marked at retail prices or even higher, which completely defeats the purpose of a thrift store.
The atmosphere is unpleasant, largely due to the staff and volunteers. The manager, an older blonde woman with a bob, had an opportunity to handle a situation with professionalism and care, yet she did the opposite. Instead of addressing the issue, offering an apology, or even attempting to de-escalate, she made the situation worse. Her response showed a complete lack of leadership and respect for customers.
To make matters worse, I felt targeted, disrespected, and even bullied by the cashier—a man who was more interested in chatting endlessly with others than acknowledging me while I was trying to check out. It was frustrating and uncomfortable. No one should feel nervous or uneasy while simply trying to shop.
They market themselves as supporting a hospice, but to me, it feels more like a tactic to get donations and encourage people to shop under the impression that they’re helping a good cause. In reality, it seems like profit is the priority.
The only reason I ever step foot in this place is the occasional good find—but even then, it’s usually overpriced. Overall, the vibe is just wrong, and I wouldn’t recommend wasting your time here.
“A true ‘Life Treasure’ isn’t just about collecting money—it’s about respecting people, valuing their time, and upholding the standards of kindness and professionalism.”
