My first experience at this store was after I had left Lane Bryant next door and decided to try this place. Plus size clothes are hard to find these days, but there on the rack was a pair of pants that I had just bought from Lane Bryant. I was excited and purchased the pants. But every time after that, I found nothing of significance. I’ve lost a bit of weight and I have a lot of Lane Bryant clothes. I thought, wow, what a good opportunity to help some other LB shopper. So I bag up my items, many with tags still on them and take them to the shop, drop them off, and wait for my appraisal. Well, I got the text and went back to the shop to find out they selected 4 items and would give me $14 cash or $17 store credit. At first I was going to take the cash, (because they don’t have enough of a selection in my size anyway) but then I looked at the items they selected, 2 very nice pair of jeans, sweater with the tag still on it and a blazer that had never been worn all from LB. I know they would sell for much more in the store and that profit margin would far exceed what is fair. I gathered my stuff and asked for my other items back too, that apparently weren’t going to be offered back to me. I told her I could donate them myself. I’d hate to think that this place rejects good clothes and keeps the rejects to only sell them later. It seemed odd because there was no explanation as to why none of the items, many with tags on them and never worn would get rejected and set to be “donated” and there was no explanation as to how the items selected only equated to $14 cash. It was weird and off-putting.
I’m writing to share my disappointment with the customer service during my recent visit to your store. The interaction with a staff member was disappointing. When I mentioned that I had expected a bit more for my clothes, her response was dismissive and rude. Constructive feedback is essential, and customers deserve to be treated respectfully, even when there’s disagreement. I understand the need to take a percentage of sales, but when this is paired with poor customer service, it discourages customers from choosing your store over simply donating their items. After this negative experience I will not come back to this store but hopefully this could be seen as feedback to improve customer service. Also, please refrain from responding with vague excuses or explanations from your point of view, as there is no justification for poor customer service and mistreatment.
Love the store! Great finds!!! It’s clean and the staff is friendly & helpful. I like looking at the clothes because they are clearly labeled in the isles so you can look at specific designers. They also rotate clothing and DON’T jammed them into the racks so tight you can’t move them to see the front and back..
They have an amazing place , clean and organized. The items they have are super nice and the staff is really friendly and helpful.
