Jim Sheppard and his company have installed the low voltage package in my last two homes we built. There’s a reason I come back to him and recommend his company to my friends; they’re trustworthy. Sheppard Security installed 40+ cat6 drops, coax to bedrooms, speaker pre-wires, and an alarm system throughout my new home. Before drywall went up, Jim took the time to walk the house with me to ensure everyone understood what was going where. I knew what I wanted for cat6 ethernet drops and Jim had some great advice for the alarm install and POE camera locations. The install was on time and at very good price. Months after the install it was discovered multiple keystone jacks from the manufacturer were defective. This is incredibly rare, but Jim’s team diagnosed it and replaced them. Thanks Jim for helping us with a key element of our new home build! The messy network rack was my install, but all the cat6 ethernet drops were installed by Sheppard Security.

I want to give Keith and his team my highest recommendation. I recently moved into a new home. At short notice (literally just a few days before move-in), he and his team spec’ed out my entire home’s security system, cameras, wifi network, multiple TVs, in-ceiling speakers and surround sound. They completed everything incredibly quickly and with ease. Any issue that came up, they went above and beyond to resolve quickly and effectively. The result was a perfectly-working customized system.

As a first step, Keith walked through the house with me and guided me dialing up and down the different options based on my priorities and made it easy to understand all the technical details. Even after the install was completed, I wanted to make some adjustments and they responded by coming right away to make the changes I requested.

Special shoutout to Jimmy who on Day 1 showed up directly from his family vacation to my home to start the install, even though he had family visiting him from out of town. Can’t say enough about DJ and Joe as well. They’re all so easy to work with and do an amazing job.

These guys are awesome! My wife and I were looking for someone to install security, pre wire for speakers and pre wiring for all other home entertainment needs during our homes construction. Some friends of ours recommended Sheppard Security for everything. We got a couple of quotes from some other guys and Sheppard was definitely the biggest bang for our buck. They followed their schedule and completed everything as promised. Even our builder said they were the best AV/Security company they have ever worked with. Always followed the building schedule and were very clean. Well our house was finished they hooked everything up and finished installing all the gadgets and speakers and wall mounted all the TV’s……..looks and works perfectly. They connected everything in the house to my iPad and android phone so I can have full control of everything with either device……pretty cool stuff. Anyway, I would highly recommend them for any security or any home entertainment needs.
