Precision Overhead Garage Door

My technician was Jackson. He was prompt, personable and professional. Once he explained that my old unit was 21 years old I knew replacement was the only way I wanted to go. He explained the difference between purchasing from a professional versus a big box store (my old unit was big box). He also explained the difference between chain and belt drives. He showed me several options but didn’t pressure me towards the high end option. My new system is amazing. It’s smooth and quiet and has more features than my old unit. And he even hauled away the old unit at the end. All of that in less than 2 hours. Awesome. I would definitely use them again and recommend them to anyone needing garage door work.

We’ve all seen Precision trucks around town. They were my first, and ended up being my only call. I felt the price was a little high, but then again, haven’t had garage door work done in a while. The guy who gave the estimate was clean, courteous and professional. He looked at the work we discussed, went to his truck and came back in 5 min with the price. I reviewed it and asked how long before he could schedule the work, if I gave him an approval. He said he has everything in the truck, he could do it now and it would take two hours. That impressed me enough to approve it on the spot. It took 2 hours. He went over it with me and it operated flawlessly and quiet. Only reason for 4 stars is I can’t confirm he was best price as I had no others. Professionalism and quality of work were 5 stars.

Short version: I highly recommend and would hire them again if needed. Excellent job done right!
Long version:
I called another garage installer first. The guy spent a lot of time telling me why it would be so hard and difficult to replace my old garage doors. Lots of things, but main thing is a frame would have to be built to attach new garage doors to so it meets code requirements. He told me they don’t build frames anymore. I would have to do it myself or get a handyman. After that he said there were many other issues going on. He actually recommended I call Precision Garage doors. So that is what I did. They came to do an estimate. Took measurements. Went over everything. Told them I want to get it done. They scheduled an install date that same day. They showed up on install day. Did a great job. Explained everything to me. It was done. They made it look easy since they are so good at it. Nice guys also. Glad that other company recommended them. Highly recommend and would use them again if needed.
