OVER PROMISED, UNDER DELIVERED. I continue to have a disappointing experience with Solar Energy World. At the beginning, our sales rep, Brent was wonderfully personable. He reassured us that he would always be available to assist with anything that we needed. That was very untrue as we found out after the ink dried. He took our issues to his company with absolutely no follow through from the service department. His responses to us now is that we need to contact customer service directly. We have contacted them numerous times without any attempt at a resolution to our system’s issue. Needless to say, their customer service has been lacking. I’ve reached out multiple times with questions and concerns, but they never return my calls, which is incredibly frustrating.
Despite my attempts to get a technician to come out for service, no one has shown up, leaving me feeling neglected and ignored. To make matters worse, the solar system I purchased does not seem to be functioning properly. I expected better support and responsiveness when I invested in this service, but unfortunately, that has not been the case. I would not recommend Solar Energy World based on my experience.
I highly recommend Solar Energy World. We had previously had a bad experience with a company called InFenergy who did nothing. SEW got busy and got the job done. This was a small job on a 800 square-foot home so it was not a hugely profitable installation for them but they performed it as if it were. Mike, the initial salesman and consultant is remarkably responsive to questions and comments. Emailing him is like chatting. He responds in almost real time. The installers were courteous and professional As well. In my opinion I think you oughta’ hire Solar Energy World.
Solar Energy World did an incredible job with my solar job. My buddy, who installs solar for a living, came and checked out their work afterwards and he said that it was some of the best work he had seen. No exposed electrical lines and everything is solid!! Thank you Brent Cotton for being trustworthy and letting me completely understand what makes this company stand out compared to others!!
Damien from solar energy world was great to work with answered all my questions and kept me informed through all the process. He worked with me to get me the best price and was transparent with everything. From the person who took care of the permit and the inspection to the crew were great to work with. I would recommend them highly

Not a serious business. I’ve been contacted by them multiple times. Their quotes for a system have been unreasonably expensive. They seem to believe that they are *NOT* selling a commodity and that their ‘services’ are somehow worthy of a heavy price premium. Their sales people are trained to talk about “Service & Warranty”. Utter nonsense! SunPower, arguable a far larger company, went bankrupt rendering all that they promised regarding “Service & Warranty” *WORTHLESS*. I wonder how the people that paid them a premium are feeling now?
There is this team Leader named Luke D’amato that is using a lead generation service. He sends emails, but doesn’t read responses. He has his people reach out with incomplete information, which is a waste of my time.
Also, how can you claim to have tens of thousands of installs and only 116 reviews, many of which seem purchased?
