Remarkable company. Joe came and quoted the job, extremely professional. Climbed into the attic and did a visual inspection. Scope of work was to remove the old blown insulation and install new open cell foam on the rafters.
Professional is an understatement. They came when promised, did the work and left the home spotless. Ryan the installer kept us informed to all the steps. He’s a pro! After the work was finished, Joe attended our home and confirmed everything was done per the contract. I’ve dealt with many,many contractors but this company was over and above anybody I’ve dealt with. I highly recommend them!
We contacted them after hurricane Milton and they came out immediately and their team was incredibly polite and professional! Our entire ridge vent blew off of our roof during the hurricane and they were sympathetic and quick to get the job done! They did not only an amazing job, but cleaned everything up and were super fair on price! Joe came out to inspect the job while they were still here and to ensure that we were happy! I will continue to recommend them!
Estimate and appointment set up was easy and flawless. I have a ceiling vent that used to be a fan that is wide open to attic. The boys that came didn’t read the paperwork about placing a peice of wood or cardboard there first, so it did fall on my stove and floor. Granted I take some responsibility there for not saying anything before they started because I wasn’t sure if my husband had already did that for me. They did clean the mess in the kitchen and the garage. Although I wish I would of thought about asking the original estimate man about how to keep the insulation up there with my attic being very open. The boys looked in the truck for something to help that situation, but didn’t have anything. We ended up cutting cardboard to help because after one windy day I had insulation in my garage. Waiting to see if this helps my electric bill. It was just over $800 for a 1,006 sq ft home, and that was with Duke energy discount. Did ask for their best material which was $1/Sq ft. Update: my electricity bill still sucks, and storms make my attic snow insulation throughout my garage
Joe Blows improved the insulation in my attic. The price was fair, the job was completed on time, the Team was considerate and my space was clean when they left. The experience was great and I’ve noticed a drop in my power bills. Definitely recommend Joe Blows!
Joe Blow’s removed and replaced our insulation throughout our house. We got another insulation company (also Duke certified) out to compare quotes, and Joe Blow’s was significantly under their quote. We discussed both quotes with the companies to attempt to determine if there was a reason for the difference and Joe’s was still the better option by far. Joe was happy to discuss the fine points of both and why he didn’t recommend some of the upgrades the other company did. We still went with some of those upgrades, and the quote was still almost half that of the competitor. His team showed up on time and was professional in every interaction. There was a minor hiccup when our ceiling was cracked during the removal of the previous insulation, but his team noticed it first and were able to get it repaired. I would happily recommend this company to anyone else.
