Jay and Crew did an excellent job removing a grand oak and 4 additional river oaks. They were always professional and timely. I highly recommend and appreciate them.

Extremely disappointed and unsatisfied with this company and their work. I would not recommend them, they do not take accountability along with a lack professionalism and no quality workmanship. In the wake of their work they ruined 5 of my sprinklers, created deep divots from machines in my back yard that were not fixed and leveled. Showed up with less materials than agreed on in the quote and needed leaving me to spend more money to fix and complete the job they agreed to do.

Jay came out to quote my property to resod my property with 1.5 pallets of grass, add 2 yards of limestone rock to my front area, and remove a few plants in my back yard. The week of the job he stated he did not have grass from his supplier and left me with no alternatives. I helped find a sod company for him to use even though that is his job with the company to find alternate suppliers for a job. (There were over 6 companies in my area.)

As a result of poor planning, the day of the job Jay showed up to the sod company and also expected to pick up yards of rock without calling to pick up rock there as well. They only had bagged rock which was $8 per bag vs calling ahead and having rock delivered at a cheaper price. He showed up with poor coordination and did not want to wait on a truck to arrive, called me saying he would like to “just cancel the job” after leaving and coming to speak to me he went back to the sod company then wanted to raise my quote over $800 but instead lowered the amount of rock needed for the job (from 2 yards to 1.2 yards) and did not take accountability for poor planning on his part. (All of this could have been pre arranged and is his job…)

His workers began demoing my grass and used a weed wacker to remove sections of grass in the front disregarding my sprinklers and damaging them. They received the grass late then just threw the grass onto the broken sprinklers covering them up and completely covered my French drains clogging them. They cut no holes in the grass for any working sprinklers and put no dirt/ manure under the fresh sod like standard protocol for putting grass down.

They then took a machine to the back yard to just drop and leave the remaining pallet of grass not demoed in the back yard for me to individually by hand move the grass squares even though he quoted and charged for a demo of the grass in the back as well.

He left the yard a disaster with parts of the ripped out plants scattered and not cleaned in the back yard and bed. They just took a chainsaw to a few plants and took out the big pieces.

The work was not done with quality workmanship, it was a thrown together job. They left the property a wreck in the back, damaged sprinklers in the back and front, did not use enough rock to cover all of the bed causing me to spend an additional $300 in rocks. I now have to spend over $1,500 to have a sprinkler company come to fix the irrigation system.

The sod I recommended was very green from Turf 1 but the workmanship and quality of this landscaping company is horrible.

Jay and his crew were terrific! They arrived early, before I made it back from dropping my kids off, and they asked could they get started. Sure enough, when I arrived they were in full swing. They stopped to explain the process. Jay and his crew were were kind and professional. They were constantly working and got done in a timely manner. They made sure to make the piles of tree debris neat! I highly recommend them and will 100% use them again!!!
