We had the representative out today. Shawn. This is in reference to lifting our house on a slab. Shawn was on time very knowledgeable and personable. We’re working a quote currently. I live on the coast and Dunedin, Florida and raising the house seems like a better option than building a new home. Five stars.
I had a great experience getting some advice for a sloping front porch at my mom‘s house in Gulfport. Phil, Shawn, and Cody were very knowledgeable and professional. They used some tools, asked questions and gave me their professional opinion. Their advice was to use a concrete company because the patio was not that far gone. I am even more impressed. Plus they immediately forwarded a recommendation of someone to get an estimate. I will keep them in mind because they obviously were honest and thinking about the best solution for the customer. Thank you!
We had some concerns about the foundation of our home just after removing the floor tile and discovered a crack in that coincided with one on the corner of the house. Richard Solsberry made a visit to our home, thoroughly inspected the outside and inside of the home and followed up taking elevation measurements. At the conclusion he explained everything he saw and described things in layman’s terms. The result was that we did not have nay major issues to worry about! Almost any other company / contractor we’ve dealt with has always has a reason / recommendation for some sort of additional work to be quoted. We would not hesitate to call on Olshan again should something change or to recommend to someone to be honest and completely transparent when providing an analysis of your home.
I left a message requesting an appointment, didn’t hear back so called the next day 3/11. Appointment set for 3/12 9am, received a text 8pm 3/11, they were double booked, set an appointment for 10:30 on 3/12. Immediately received another email setting appointment for 10:30 on 3/13. No one ever showed or called, wouldn’t have hired them as they probably wouldn’t show to do the work!
The service/Shawn was prompt, informative, and attentive, offering solutions without any high-pressure sales tactics. It stood out in comparison to other companies that evaluated the home for the same issue. Additionally, they provided helpful literature to clarify the available solution options.
