Firstly, we called quite a few landscaping companies, and Chris was the only one to answer the phone. Secondly compared to the other quotes we got, he was the most reasonable with price! Then you get to the work being done. Chris and his team worked with us and answered any questions we had, the quality of work was exceptional as well. Will 100% use him again, would recommend him to anyone.
Seems as if this company is taking on way too many jobs. Chris promised us he would take care of our lawn and replace some sod he quoted AND charged us for in our front and backyard. The whole situation from the beginning was frustrating because he had given us a date of installation for our sod and then changed it the day of stating he “could not source the sod and that he has another big project to do.” We felt like he prioritized this bigger contract over us and did not respect our time as a new client. We both had cleared our schedule for him and his team. When he finally had the chance to come out, his team struggled to accomplish the project and ended up leaving with the job half finished. Chris repeatedly made stated he would take care of us and finish the smaller areas in the back of our yard at the one month point (post installation). His “contract” states he would be in overseeing the growth of the new sod for the first three months…but this could not be further from the truth. We have sent multiple messages with few to no responses. The last we heard was that he could not come out because of rain and we needed to reschedule. We attempted to follow up but no phone call back. We want what we paid for and we want for him to simply honor his words. We are understanding people and listened when he shared he had personal things going on his life, but I can see from other posts he has stated that to others before…so it seems his work life balance needs adjusting. Perhaps, take on fewer clients and focus on quality. We are frustrated that Chris told us he would come cut the sod that his team had covered over a drainage grate in our yard. This is super important and can cause water to pool and kill the new sod we paid for. We don’t have the tools for this and this should have been done correctly by his team in the first place. He kept pushing and pushing for us to get a contract with Consolidated so we wouldn’t be in violation of his warranty policy for the sod and we did. We did our part and we are waiting for him to do his. We were sympathetic when you said you and your team were simply too hot to finish the job and that you had to get to the bank before it closed the day of our install. If you can’t finish the job then we will need a refund for the backyard sod you charged us for and refund for not completing portions in the front yard. I really did not want to leave a poor review, but this is not acceptable and I am not happy. We are also already starting to see some patches we need you to address, but since you yourself won’t visit…your 3 month warranty will need to be extended. I really hope you reach out and help finish the job you signed up for.
Also, to make matters worse…Chris had insisted that his magical formula for having good grass was simply watering. He insisted he set up our sprinklers because he wanted us to trust him and the process. We let him make changes he needed, but this man had our sprinklers running from 6 am till nearly 9am. He had programmed the system to turn on at multiple start times, not realizing that the system cycles from zone to zone based on duration of time, and not necessarily different start times. We thankfully caught this mistake early.
**We have reached out to his cellphone and asked for a date to discuss remaining areas of concern that we paid for but were not completed. We have not received a date of install. Multiple messages, no reply. Photos of areas in backyard being uploaded as proof of areas not finished.
May need to report to BBB if we can’t get a timely response. It has been past the 1 month mark of an install and he has yet to come out as stated in contract.

Chris & his crew did a great job! The pictures speak for themselves. I think I paid a fair price for the work they did, but they were the only company I called as their Google reviews sold me on their work/reputation. That said, I’m giving them 4 stars as communication beforehand was inconsistent. Overall, I’m pleased with the results.
My lawn looks amazing thanks to Chris and his team!!! Chris was a joy to work with, super personable, kind and professional. He personally took care of little details that he didn’t have to do and truly went above and beyond. The crew worked fast and everything was accurate. The price was phenomenal!! Give them a call, they will take great care of you!
