Cute cafe style little place. Nice staff. Modern finishes. Takes credit card/Apple Pay. Not the live whole fish type of hard core Chinese dish but it’s an interesting cafe. Also very friendly for solo diners. Plenty of park up front.
I don’t live in Orlando. But I happened to be in town and having a taste for Asian cuisine! Came to Boiled Fish for my first time today and I was blown away by my Classic Spicy Boiled fish soup. I ordered medium spicy and add sliced beef. The soup base is tasty and hearty!! It was just pure outstanding. The soup comes with a huge variety of veggies and even some types of clear flat noodles that soak up all the flavor in the soup!! I will definitely come back!!
The fish-flavored Shredded Pork was flavorful, the pork was a little tough. The stir fried soy bean sprouts were good with “wok hey”. I would not use the authentic word for those two dishes. The rice was stale. The service was fine. It was kind of strange that at least two tables were not cleaned after customers left during our lunch.
Their main dish of fish with pickled vegetables was great, but everything else was a bit disappointing. The Wuhan noodles shouldn’t even be called Wuhan noodles. Service was a bit slow, but prices were reasonable. I’d come back if I’m having a craving in the area.
Wonderful experience! The ambiance is cool and inviting, with a stylish color theme that sets it apart. The food is packed with flavor, and each dish is beautifully presented. It’s a different but better Chinese option in the area—what a great surprise! Definitely a must-try for anyone looking for a unique and memorable dining experience!
