Academy of the Holy Name’s modo is “To Be, Rather Than to Seem”. The school lives up to this every day by providing a rigorous academic program as a basic standard and then taking the child’s development to the next level by weaving into each day the opportunity to grow into the best version of oneself. The school celebrates uniqueness, creative thinking, athletic achievements, and spiritual richness. We have 4 children at Academy and are happy to call it home.
Academy is more than just a school, it is a place where the faculty and staff go above and beyond to ensure it is providing a challenging yet nurturing environment where students can grow and excel academically, as well as emotionally and spiritually. Academy recognizes the importance of providing an environment that fosters and nurtures the development of the whole child. I love that the Academy provides an environment where children engage in community service activities as a school community and the students learn, as early as 4 years old, about the importance of helping others in need in our community.
We love the Academy of the Holy Names! Our daughter’s academic experience in the AHN co-Ed middle school prepared her well for the academically rigorous all-girls AHN high school. There are wonderful athletic, fine arts, and community service opportunities, and the focus on “To Be, Rather Than To Seem” is evident in the students from Pre-K to Seniors. AHN is such a blessing to our whole family!
This message Scarpo famiy. I have daughter graduated with honors and accepted Vanderbilt University. I was not catholic but the way they accepted my daughter did excel the in the school and values she inherited and character they folded my daughter was commendable. I have utmost respect to school and entire teaching. My daughter is excelled with her standards not with paying 1,5 million dollars donation to buy and pass the buck to go to top schools.
You cannot buy a class paying and asking your money back but class is you are born with it. It is in your blood not your in bank accounts.
Money does not buy your child education she must earn it. That is what Sister Ann Celine told us to my daughter did exceed in the school with their help but never forced to change the beliefs of my religion nor standards. I am very proud AHN. She did not go to college to pay with my husband’s money but she worked hard in school to earn it.
So happy with our experience at AHN. Our girls have developed into strong confident young women. There are endless opportunities to expand and express themselves from academics, athletics, arts clubs, service, religious and more…
