I visited this store on Wednesday, 2/12/25, 4:30 pm. I’d had a battery installed at one of the big warehouse discount stores the night before. Unbeknownst to me until Wed afternoon, apparently there had been an issue with the battery connection, and my car simply died going down busy Fletcher Ave – no power steering of course, not even any flashers, etc. I was fortunate to be able to coast onto a side street, where I discovered the hard way that I’d forgotten to put tools back into the car after drying it out post-Milton. I was fortunate to get a ride to this Advance Auto (a whole separate chapter on kindness), and had more good fortune in meeting Isaiah, who was helpful, knowledgeable and patient, and who administered these qualities through a great kindness. It’s difficult to imagine a more exceptional ambassador than Isaiah for this store in particular and for Advance Auto Parts in general.
I’m only giving 5 stars for Zach and Isaiah. However, Korena warrants a one star review. We ordered an alternator for pickup. She provided the wrong alternator (despite us choosing the right one and the right part number being on the receipt that was literally attached to the WRONG alternator). It caused a world of confusion, mess, and frustration until Zach was able to help us figure out what the issue was. At the store, Zach and Isaiah were extremely helpful in explaining what happened and solving the problem. If Zach hadn’t figured out what happened, we would’ve been even more screwed. So, shout out to those two and big thumbs down to Korena for the blatant mistake.
I needed my battery tested and then replaced in my 2019 Ford Fusion. It is in a difficult place to get to. Another local “battery” expert down the road checked it and said he could not get it out to test it or replace it (then tried to sell me wiper blades!). Went to my local Advanced Auto Parts and they were awesome! Very quickly tested then replaced my battery. Should have gone there first, and the price was the same.
Great experience with this store! We purchased a battery with a warranty about 2 years ago and recently had an issue with it. The process was easy to change it out and the service we received was awesome. I wish I got their names, but the 2 employees working on Tues morning (7/30) were super friendly and professional. It’s not often that a company provides exceptional service like this, so I wanted to make sure to post this review!
I shop at the store at least twice a week I am an elite member and spend a lot of money in your store but that ends after today. I got there at exactly 7:00 and by the time I got out of my car it was 701 and your customer service guys lock the door in my face and yet there were still two customers inside. I pleaded and I begged them because I needed transmission fluid it would have taken 5 seconds for me to grab it. To not help a girl out who is literally in tears begging you for some transmission fluid blows my mind. Even the customers that were inside were like go on help her out. I will never ever spend another dime at the store again I would rather drive across town to find somewhere else or to shop at AutoZone that was completely the opposite of giving a customer even half decent experience.
