My dog was down bad and they really are helping him gain his life back! Just been a few days and major improvements ! He’s up and moving around happy again and not going through all the pain he had from hook worms! They are Very affordable compared to the emergency room! Most of all … affordable pet hospital loves PETS not just money!!!!
Took our dog their Saturday (7/27) and sat for 3 hours, paid $809 to be told by the callused lady vet with the glasses that she may have cancer… She then wanted to do more test and rack the bill up to almost $1400 so “she could have a bigger picture” but we didn’t trust her to know anything more after taking more of our money, so we took our dog Rosie home and made the heartbreaking decision to put her down. Fast forward to today, I get the MOST monotone call from an employee giving us condolences… I do not recommend taking your animals here. Not so “affordable” as their name implies, and the vet has no empathy for people who aren’t made of money, and have thousands of dollars sitting around to let her perform every test know to man. Her judgemental looks are enough to make you want to slap her…. Disgusting
DO NOT TAKE YOUR RABBIT HERE!!!! I started taking my rabbit here a couple months ago because he started going limp in one of his hind legs. They gave me some syringes and medicine, which did absolutely nothing for my bunny and I ended up finding some over-the-counter stuff that somewhat helped my rabbit, but not completely regained strength in his leg. I then visited Them a few weeks later because of an eye issue he had. They then prescribed me with an eye gel that would get rid of it, but it never did.i ended up having to find something else that helped it. I then took him to them for the third and final time about two months ago, where they had found a lump under his chin and had tested it saying that it was only a fatty lump. They gave me some syringes and medicine for the lump as well and the lump only got bigger and now my bunny is completely paralyzed and I’m writing this as he is on his deathbed right now. If I would’ve known this place was so horrible with bunnies I would’ve never taken my poor boy here. I used all my money on them instead of an actual vet who actually knows what they’re doing. The only reason I had kept going to this place was because no other vets in my area see exotic/rabbits and they are “highly recommended “but please never use them. not only was their service absolutely terrible but the staff is so nasty and do not care about people at all. Whenever I would take my bunny there, I would wait for them to tell me how he’s looking or how he is after the exam and they would give me the most vague and nonchalant answer to why I had to ask questions about every little detail about him. I asked about his blood pressure. They just said “good “and I had to ask again well what is it. I asked if he was overweight they said no and I said well how much does he weigh and they said 5 pounds and walked away. She talked more to the little vet on the iPad than she did to me and she was so nasty with her tone and did not care or have any sympathy for my poor rabbit.
I see several recent reviews as poor, but I have to say, my last few visits after being referred to Dr. Morris from an emergency care vet were wonderful … even through a tough situation! I came in with a sudden sickly rescue pup, and after several visits and multiple tests, Dr. Morris and her incredible staff were determined to get Smudge feeling better. Dr. Morris took on the case with compassion and so much care. After each visit, she called me herself when test results came back and discussed action plans to get this pup to feel better and always had a plan b just in case. She was thorough, gave me time to ask questions, and made me feel just as important as my dog. Dr. Morris even went above and beyond and discussed my pups case with a colleague who specialized in gastro just to ensure treatment plans aligned with his case. I am so glad to have found you all and feel better knowing Smudge will be given the best care there to get healthy and live a God willing, long life. Thank you all.
