Making the appointment was very easy and the person I spoke with provided all the instructions that I needed in advance to have a good visit. Then the nurse that helped me prepare for the imaging service was very easy to communicate with and explained everything that was about to happen, like the warm feelings you get when contrasting solution is injected. I felt completely at ease over the whole process and there were no surprises, other than how quickly the appointment ended.
They were awesome! From the point where I was lost at the other end of this huge hospital to making sure I had a snack after the procedure. They were the absolute nicest professionals, and I got to listen to Yacht Rock during the procedure!
The overall experience was fabulous! I have had many MRI’s done and none could even come close to meeting the standard I experienced @Bay Care Imaging. Ann at Check in and Erica who did the MRI were very polite and professional in their duties. Erica explained everything in great detail and it was over before I knew. I will definitely be using Bay Care Imaging for all of my imaging needs in the future! The “Thank You” card that I received was just icing on the cake!
It started at the front desk with Ann. The purple hair lady. She is very rude and unprofessional. She’s entitled and thinks patients owe her something. I approached the counter and said, “Hey, I have an appointment.” Her immediately reply was, “Well how you doing today?” As if I’m required to speak. I’m not required to speak to anyone. The Hey should’ve been enough. I don’t understand why she’s trying to force extra conversation out of people, while making them uncomfortable. I didn’t like that at all! Every time I come to that facility, this same woman Ann, always gives off rude and nasty energy. I was extremely sick and not feeling well and the last thing I needed was someone to make my day harder. Ann is very unprofessional and rude and her appearance is unprofessional. Purple hair is not a natural hair color and it goes to show that clearly Ann thinks she’s above the dress code. Only natural hair colors are mentioned in the dress code policy. Ann needs to follow the rules just like the rest of the employees. I do not plan on ever coming back to that facility because there’s always unprofessionalism and rudeness. I do not appreciate it at all. Treat me with respect and dignity as those are supposed to be a part of Baycare’s core values. In addition, the employee who performed my imaging hurt me and bruised my arm. She had two unsuccessful attempts with inserting an iv. Both times she did not stabilize the vein and they rolled. She also fished in my arm both attempts which caused me pain. I don’t like that at all. That isn’t proper IV insertion technique and she needs more training. Patients are supposed to be able to come and have services without having harm done to them as their oath is to keep patients safe. She was nice, but still I don’t appreciate being tortured. I only want confident and competent professionals working with me. These issues need to be addressed and followed up on. These employees need to be held accountable. Without accountability they will continue to mistreat and harm other people.
What a great experience. We were lucky enough to get my sons MRI done same day because they had a cancelation. Stacy and Maria explained everything to him so he knew what to expect. Thank you for your compassion, this mom really appreciated it!
