I chose Dr Castellano for my breast augmentation based on my comfort level with him and recommendations from other women (that were nice enough to show me their results). I did have another consult, but it didn’t compare. Let’s start with the initial consult. I was introduced to Pam and Dr Castellano to talk with me about what I wanted and the options I had. I explained i wanted to have a very natural look, as I’m quite petite and slender. So, I was sized for a 290 implant. I was never suggested to do anything other than what I wanted. Day of surgery, yes I was nervous, but I was at ease after checking in and talking their nurse, Gerri, and their anesthesiologist, Dr D. I was even more at ease to know the anesthesiologist was a Dr also. This is not always the case in other surgeons’ offices. Surgery went well. I was awake and heading home about an hr after surgery. Surprisingly, there was no pain, but I was told it may be uncomfortable once pain meds wore off. You’re prescribed a weeks worth of pain meds, but I literally took 2 the day after and that’s it. Definitely felt some pressure, but no pain (for me). I almost forgot to mention that Dr Castellano called me the day of surgery to see how I was doing. That was huge to me! Anyone from the office could’ve called, be he did. It really showed me he cared. Now, fast forward to healing. Once wraps came off, I applied an ointment on my very small incisions surrounding the areola. It’s shocking how they get the implant through such a tiny hole. After a few months, my incisions were fading and have now completely gone away. They literally blend into the skin. My breasts are completely even and fit my body frame. I could not be happier with my results. I wrote this in depth review in hopes to help the next person. Surgery can be scary and trying to make the right or best decision for you is so important. I highly recommend Dr Castellano for surgery. He listened and delivered the best results I could have imagined. His team is equally amazing. Trust me, book a consult. You’ll be happy you did.

When I went for a consultation, Dr Castellano’s assistant that came in the room with him was turning her nose up at me and making disgusting facial expressions while looking at my body that made me feel uncomfortable so I chose another doctor. His staff is terrible! People consider plastic surgery to enhance their appearance for themselves, but it is people like his assistant that look down on others and make them feel like they do not look good. Shame on them!
In addition, he is the most overrated and overpriced in the Tampa area.
