Excellent service. I worked with James and he was very attentive to what I needed for a new roof after hurricane Milton. He and his colleagues dealt with permitting and submitting info to the insurance company. They were on time to start the work, very clean, they picked up all the debris and the old shingles and even used a big magnet to pick up nails that may have fallen on the ground. James oversaw the crew and kept me updated on the progress. When the job was done he came back to make sure I was happy. I would not hesitate to recommend James and Excel Exteriors to do your roof.
What an awsome company to work with. First off my homeowners insurance was threatening to drop me out of no where for my flat roof. And these guys came through on a last minute notice and redid my flat roof and soffit and did an upstanding job. The crew was on site early and over performed in my eyes.
I scheduled an appointment 2 weeks in advance for an estimate to replace hurricane damaged siding on my house. Received at least 5 “reminders” from Excel. They were no show for my 9:00 appointment so I called at 10:00 and was advised they would call back. Still no call. I understand they must be very busy after the storms, but if that’s the case then don’t accept my appointment request. Be more respectful of people’s time.
Do not trust this company or their reviews. After 1 month we had a leak in the roof and it took 3 months for them to come and repair it after weeks of hounding them to just schedule the appointment.
Currently dealing with the same thing, noticed a leak and I’ve been calling in every other day and being told the same thing, “Oh someone will get in touch with you.” Its been well over a month of constant calls and still no call back or appointment set.
Horrible company, and wretched service.
Also, read the contract before you sign. Specifically under “Warranty Rights”:
“We hereby disclaim all warranties, express, or implied, Agreement claims, negligence claims, and all other claims for which Owner has not provided EXCEL with written or actual notice within six months from the date of discovery of the problem and which have not been fully resolved within six months from the date Owner notified EXCEL of the claim.”
So if you report an issue and its not resolved in 6 months they claim they are no longer responsible for it.
DO NOT trust them with your business.
