There are lots of historical buildings, but it just felt like there’s not much going on here. The buildings are very well preserved and you can go in almost all of them. There are some historical items on display in most of the buildings on the time period from the area, but it just didn’t seem too engaging. There is a playground and pavilions and I saw a tennis court.
I visited on 12/13/24 around 1:30pm. I really enjoyed this park! There weren’t many people here, which was fine by me because it was nice and quiet. I love going to historical places because I love learning. I really enjoyed each exhibit and being able to imagine what life was like back then. There are a good number of parking spaces, baseball field, basketball court, tennis court, picnic tables, and a lot of green area. They also had clean bathrooms. I’m looking forward to the post office exhibit opening in the future. It is right next to the road, so it can be a little noisy from car traffic. I’d love to come back and look at more books on the bookshelf, I enjoy old books.
Driving by and find this lil historical spot. Glad I stop by with my daughters and have this Magical experience. We love history, we love books and coming in here and find out about history was amazing. Will definitely be back.
