Everyone we encountered were very nice. Breakfast was very good (waffles, eggs, cereal, yogurt, bagels, muffins). The shuttle to Busch Gardens was easy and convenient. The room was nice and clean, but the hotel is very close to a busy road and the traffic noise made it hard to get a good nights sleep (ask for parking lot side). While the hotel was convenient for the park, there really isn’t anything else in the area.
I’d spent way too long trying to find a clean quiet hotel for a quick business trip. Reviews of numerous facilities often shared the same problems involving cleanliness and lack of care and concern from staff. Found this one and the reviews were pretty solid. Correct, too. Room was laboratory-grade clean when I checked in, temperature perfect,lots of towels, common areas spotless and if all that wasn’t enough the service at every turn has been exemplary. These folks are truly committed to providing a welcoming, safe and enjoyable stay. I have to come back in a couple weeks and THIS is where I’m staying, especially if Jamina is still helping to set the tone.
This hotel exceeded my expectations! The lobby area was very nice and the staff was very welcoming. The rooms were exceptionally clean, very spacious, and nice. They do offer breakfast in the morning for free for those looking to save some coins. The location was also convenient since you have food, grocery stores, and a pharmacy just up the road and Busch Gardens across the street. There’s a McDonald’s right next door for a quick bite to eat. I highly recommend this hotel for your stay! Excellent customer service!
I have been staying here for the past week and a half. It’s a clean hotel but the area is terrible and scary. On Sunday morning I went down to their breakfast and the woman that runs it was extremely rude to me. I got up to throw my plates away and left a few crumbs behind on the table and passed her walking to wipe the table down, and she said under her breath “unbelievable” as she looked at my table that she was cleaning. If your there close to it closing she makes you feel like your a burden and has been very rude in general all along towards me. She is a light skinned black woman in her 50s. I still have 3 more days to stay and I will try to avoid her because she goes out of her way to make certain guests feel extremely uncomfortable
When I called to book a room I specifically asked if they have shuttles from airports and I was told yes. My family and I stood outside waiting for a shuttle that was never coming. When I tried to call the hotel I waited on hold for over 10 minutes. I had another in my family call and hit a different ext. Come to find out none of the ext. worked none. Finally gave in and called urber. Once we got to the hotel we find out the phones didn’t even work and that I was lied to and they had no shuttles to airport nor to port. Then we get to the room. The pillows r the worst I have ever had in a hotel worst. The water never got hot was luke warm. I gave 2 stars instead of 1 because the desk lady at night was nice and the breakfast was good. That was it. The worst hotel I have been n . It’s clean, staff was nice. But saying u have a service you don’t have and not having a working phone. Just isn’t right.
