Food was excellent and tasty. The server was polite and very courteous and very patient with us. Food has flavors of various spices and does not overpower the main ingredient that’s the way the Indian food should be. Second visit is a must.
We’ve been wanting to try an Indian restaurant in the Carrollwood area and decided to give this place a try. It’s a little pricey but unfortunately that may also just be the way things are these days. The service was good and the food was out in a timely manner. We had a group of 6 and everyone enjoyed their meal. I will say we are no spice to mild spice so be careful of your spice level.
I ordered palak paneer today, and unfortunately, it was disappointing. The dish had a stringy or hairy texture and lacked the essential tadka, making it quite bland. It seemed as though the paneer was simply fried and then added to a plain spinach gravy, rather than being prepared with care and attention. I feel that the quality of the dish did not match the price I paid. It appears as though the effort put into making the curry was minimal, which is not what I expect from a restaurant. I paid in full expecting a well-prepared, flavorful dish, but I didn’t receive that. I wish I could say it was okay. But believe me you, it was horrible!
I gave a call in advance to reserve a table and found a table has been arranged on arrival. Place is not large but clean and comfortable.
We selected multiple varieties as we have different preferences- vegetarians, pescatarians and meat lovers. Loved crispy and fresh garlic naan. We ordered biriyani and protein selection was great. Our server was attentive and came to check our needs multiple times. We went there on weekday around 7pm and place was not that crowded. But better to reserve a table as the place is not big to ensure your dining.
I would recommend this place to Indian food lovers. If I get a chance I’ll visit again.
My wife and I have driven by this restaurant a thousand times and always wanted to try it. We decided to order pickup for Valentine’s Day and the food definitely exceeded our expectations. The hostess was polite and helpful, the food was fresh and ready promptly, and everything we ordered was delicious! We will be back and would highly recommend.
