I loved it! Stayed at the Home 2 Studio.
Definitely worth it all! My BF and I stayed here for a couple of nights and it was so nice. We got the studio room with the queen size bed. The only bad thing was they didn’t have any hand soap in the bathroom. Which i found extremely odd.. But other than that I would stay here again!
Stayed here for two nights prior to our Cruise out of Tampa. Location was excellent. We were able to walk to the cruise ship terminal (there was also a shuttle but we had kids and it was better for them to burn off some energy before hand). We arrived late at night after delayed flights and check in was a breeze. Breakfast was delicious. It’s VERY VERY busy. This hotel is busy. If you’re looking for calm this is not it lol. They do have two seating areas for breakfast and the side not with the food was relatively less busy and quieter. There is also a Starbucks attached to hotel and you get 10% off with your room key.
The room was excellent. Floor to ceiling windows. The road noise however was terrible. We use white noise to sleep always while travelling and due to the location next to the highway it is very loud even with the white noise.
Staff were very friendly and depending when you arrive and how the cruise ships are running the lobby may be very hectic. We were there through a delayed cruise and the hotel was nice to let people hang out in the lobby while they waited. Subsequently our boat the following day was also delayed and we were able to check out an hour later at no cost which was an added plus.
Room was clean, stayed in a suite & had everything needed to cook a meal. Bathroom was clean & convenient with shampoo, conditioner & body soap (full sized bottles) plenty of towels. We had a pool view room. Didn’t get to use the pool at all which was a bummer since it looked awesome with a BBQ area, lounging chairs beds, fire pit & tables & chairs. Great location, parking however, not included we paid $30 per day which I find ridiculous. Hotel offers free breakfast, omelet, bacon sausage, home fries, waffle maker, cereal, fruits, yogurt & oatmeal. Coffee & tea station setup all day & night. Also has a Starbucks.
Perfect place to stay if you’re going on the cruise ships leaving terminal 6. You can literally walk to the port. Also, very conveniently located close to ybor city if you want to take in some night life.
We had an excellent stay at this hotel. The rooms were beautiful, very clean, and had a great view. The staff was also excellent as well. Check in/out was very smooth too!
