Dr Mia Fronteras is amazing! You can tell she truly cares about you and your health concerns. She is filled with knowledge and shares her plan of care with you in a gentle and caring way. She is awesome at explaining things as well in a way that helps you understand the processes and how she plans to help make your life better, not just treat your condition! I highly recommend her and I will say this is the first time I ever wrote review for a physician.
SHe is very knowledgeable, patient and made sure that she educate you well that helps make an informed decision on your medical choices.
If you have a condition that needs attention I would not recommend this practice. My wife and I found Mia Fronteras after looking at her reviews. She is booked out for a few months, we were able to get an appointment and the consultation was great. I feel ike we were bait and switched after that, we could only get appointments with the Nurse practitioner, my wife has been having issues with her levels and they just keep switching dosages trying to find the right one. This has been hard for us as when we asked to see the doctor they told us we can’t… That the practice there will “do that, where you see the doctor once and then you start seeing the APRN.” I had tried to get someone to return my calls for 3 days after blood work was off and when they did return my call I was told they never received a message. Just a bad experience. I cannot feel good about myself If I don’t warn people and save them the headache.
(Update This place seemed to go downhill fast….very confusing communications after Covid times as much as my experience with the Dr was great at some point I coukdnt get answers as to what I should do next when I was being sent for a biopsy thry couldnt give me any direction as to wjere I should go since they didnt perform them on site).
Well worth the wait for a first time appointment with Dr. Fronteras. She will explain everything to you and is very knowledgeable. She absolutely looks at the whole picture. I am fortunate to be under her care. Her staff is also pleasant and efficient. I know I am in good hands. Thank you
Dr Fronteras is very well versed and thorough in her field of expertise as Endocrinologist. Takes enough time to explain with good follow thru in every step of my journey as diabetic. God bless you Dr Mia Fronteras
