Dr.Rivera put tubes in my son’s ears years ago. He was very thorough with explaining everything very clearly. Me and my son felt at ease going into surgery. Surgery went great and my son was relieved from having multiple after multiple ear infections. Thank you Dr.Rivera.
Husbands return visit for a trigeminal nerve issue back in December. Dr. was excellent, unfortunately the staff makes the office. From wait time on the phone to collection being their main concern if not talking among themselves about non patient related issues. Very loud and unprofessional staff. We didn’t even see a Dr. but am sure that was the way it was billed. I asked for a print out of our last visit to verify what Medicare paid and was given the phone number of the billing company and told they don’t have that information.
Dr. Rivera save my 10 years old son from a horrible face dog bite accident. Late at night me and my wife were in a desperate situation in an ER and Dr. Rivera responded to us when we needed the most.
He helped us assess the situation, drove to the hospital, and perform a restoration surgery to my child when the only option given to us was to put a few stitches and hope for the best aesthetic result.
He treated my son thinking not only about his safety but also how his face and appearance. He put almost 40 stitches and restored my son’s cheek. When he came out of the surgery I was so grateful to have him as a doctor, me and my wife went from being totally destroyed to feel confident my son was in a full recovery path. Four weeks have passed and my boy is looking better everyday.
Me and my wife are eternally grateful for the quality of his work and humbleness of Dr. Rivera, he’s a great great MD and I will recommend him to anyone!
I had a complete thyroidectomy done on 08/08/2018 by Dr. Rivera. The first sergeant I seen told me that he was not competent to perform my surgery due to the size of my thyroid (13+cm). This information was very anxiety provoking, and made it difficult for me to find someone that I could trust. I found Dr. Agnello (Dr.Rivera colleague) who eventually had to refer me to Dr. Rivera because my treatment had to be done at a BayCare facility… Just imagine my stress level at this point! I met Dr. Rivera at my pre-op appointment for the first time. He was very kind and thorough with explaining what I could expect during the surgery. The morning of my operation (7:00am), Dr. Rivera arrived early to be there with my wife and I. This really helped with my anxiety. The operation lasted approximately 4 hours. My wife was informed of the progress through-out the procedure. Dr. Rivera personally went to talk with my wife while I was in ICU recovering. He stayed at the hospital hours after the surgery was done. Dr. Rivera was a blessing sent to me. He performed a surgery that I was told 98% of sergeants won’t even touch, and he done an awesome job!! On behalf of myself and family, Thank you!
