We went here for my mother’s birthday on a Friday evening at 7 PM. If you do not get there before 730, the parking lot will be completely jammed. Make a reservation is highly recommended. I called at 6:05. They said there was no wait.I got there at six forty five, and I waited for three people!

MONSERRAT… i believe I spent that right was not even our server but came over to help us has been there for a long time. Very nice woman. Thanks again for your great service. Food is always good. Thanks again. My grandfather came back here and ninety two, the beginning.Wow a lot has changed.
Complimentary tortillas with salsa: Not too greasy with a decently spicy salsa.
combination steak and chorizo fajita: The meat caneta the perfect temperature fresh and hot filled with flavor and well seasoned. When you put it all together you get flavor beyond compare.
Bacon wrapped shrimp: The shrimp was grilled to perfection wrapped in beautiful pan friend perfection of bacon giving it an explosive flavor.
Fried Ice-cream: my guilty pleasure, perfect crust surrounding classic vanilla icecream with a crunchy tortilla beneath.
Staff super friendly. Prices are great! The ambiance is really cool too they have a large selection of seafood and a good mix of seafood/ Mexican food things like fish tacos or lobster tacos or things of that nature. They also had very good chimichangas. We showed up fairly late in the evening and our waiter was super friendly. Very accommodating and very informative. If you like seafood and you like Mexican definitely check this place out.
So disappointed. I always get the shrimp brochette. This time I got 3 cocktail sized shrimp vs the 4 prawn size they advertise. I mentioned it to staff and all they did was apologize. Not worth $15 for 3 shrimp!
Good sit down mexican spot in Tampa with tons of options! Started with the queso and ceviche. The queso was a bit soupy, so dissapointed there, but the flavor was great. The ceviche was fantastic with a perfect balance of acidity and veggies with the shrimp.
For the mains we got the fajitas with chicken steak and chorizo and the queso burrito. The first one was amazing, tons of food and great flavor. The burrito itself was just okay, felt like the cheese overpowered everything.
For Tampa, good spot to sit down and enjoy mexican food versus your typical fast casual or food trucks we are accustomed to!
