Morris Bridge Park…breezy boardwalk with views and places to sit/enjoy/fish. Clearly marked hiking trails. Clean bathrooms and picnic tables. Bring insect repellent and enjoy!
As of right now, Nov 23rd, 2024, the park is open but all the trails and boardwalks are closed. Not much to do here, no place to walk. It looks like it’s due to hurricane damage, but it has been several weeks since the last hurricane and everything is still just left there damaged and closed. Not sure when it will be fixed…
Very beautiful, first time ive been. I usually go to lettuce lake for the river tower, i liked how this one wasnt as crowded and more off the grid. Saw more animals.
$2 to park, beautiful wooded boardwalk and two other trails along the river! The launch area looked nice too 🙂 Loaded with wildlife — fish, snakes, gators, and a bunny! Will take a kayak next time as there’s much to explore!
Such a wonderful and lush preserve with plenty of parking tucked away from other more popular and busy parks. Very casual trail. I have a serious back issue and I was able to walk it no problem. They even have benches to sit and rest throughout the trail. Lots of birds, gators, deer and even feral pigs!
