I arrived at 557pm to grab 2 simple auto parts and the csr stopped me at the door saying they were closed. Now me being a first time customer I will never want to go to napa again just for this experience . Its rediculous. If you dont close your doors until 6pm
NAPA is normally a great place to get parts from but on the day I went, which was a Sunday, the manager acted like he did not know what he was doing. I ordered a part over the phone and went and picked it up. I took it home and it was wrong so I took it back along with the old part off my vehicle so he could match it up to the rite part. He looked on his computer and he did not see but one other piece they showed that it could be but it did not exactly match my old part. He got the new one and compared it and it was not the same so he came back to the computer and looked again and said the wrong part must have been put on my car then he scrolled down the page and said oh wait there is another one here and he matched my piece to the picture and he said he didn’t have it He had to order it but I needed it then and by the time he was done and I had taken the wrong one he gave home and back to NAPA the day was gone. I had to get one somewhere else because this manager I felt like knew nothing about my vehicle or parts. An upper control arm is not something that people don’t use all the time. He was nice about it but my time ran out and I had a mechanic at my house waiting for me. So I had to wait until another day to get my vehicle fixed. The place is clean and people very friendly but I can’t say they check things out very well or look at the screen very well before telling you your part on your vehicle must have been wrong. Make sure you know your vehicle.
They don’t have a tool that a customer can use other than a socket set. We were able to get help from an employee. She was kind enough to let us use hers for 2 seconds to open a locked gas cap. I wish I would have gotten her name but she had red long hair and was very nice! Thanks so much darlin you saved us to make it home!
