The rooms were nice and clean. The service and cleanliness of the casino was not. The bar areas where the small tables were had previous garbage on many of the tables. The chairs had huge stains on them. It was hard to find a clean chair. They have no place to sit except at a slot machine, card table or in a bar. Only one bar tender working at the L Bar. Took forever to get noticed. I felt bad for the woman working. No outside area away from the slots or tables to sit, if you were waiting for someone. I guess they want you to gamble at all times. You have to pay for your drinks, which I never did at any other casino. While we were there no entertainment going on. The tables do not offer $1 chips. Lowest denomination is a $5 chip. We did eat that the pool restaurant. The food was pretty good. The waitress was nice. I just felt like it was not a good experience with the gambling. My husband played poker at the tables downstairs. He thought it was okay. He thought the rake was high taking 10% up to $5 plus $2.00 for the exotic hand from every pot.
TRUCKERS NOT WANTED – When compared with most other large casinos, there is basically no place to park a truck and trailer, even for a few hours. Here is my story: It was a Sunday, so it was fairly busy. I drove around the casino twice, looking for a place to park. The lone exterior lot was full. They have plenty of garage parking, but the outdoor lot is very small. I noticed a big rig and several other truck and trailer combinations parked in the 3rd lane on Casino Entrance Drive before Valet Drive. Only 2 lanes are necessary here, so the 3rd lane had some availability and is used for truck and trailer parking. I called security to make sure I could park there without a problem, and I was assured this was an acceptable place to park for a few hours. I set up cones around my trailer, and I went inside. Approximately 90 minutes later, a security guard comes looking for me. He acted professionally and asked me to step away from my table. I was asked if I was a hotel guest or a top tier member. There is no sign indicating a rule about who is allowed to park in that area, and there was plenty of space behind where I parked. In other words, I was not parked in a much needed space. Once I realized they weren’t going to let me stay parked in the spot, I asked if I could valet or if they had anywhere else I could park. I was told they were busy, and they could not accommodate my vehicle and trailer anywhere! I was asked to finish up my game and leave. Not sure why I was told otherwise to begin with, but now I know that I’ll not be able to visit this casino when I’m passing through and delivering supplies in the Tampa area. In my opinion, they could designate the outdoor parking for buses and larger vehicles, while accommodating all other vehicles in the large parking garages. It’s just not a good policy to turn away those of us who keep America moving.
Nice place to spend money and lose money! Besides being a typical casino, it takes 20 minutes to get a drink at the bar in the casino. Pretty terrible for a casino honestly. Minimum bets for tables go up as it gets more crowded. Typical in many places, but nothing exists below a $25 min bet. Many people will agree that those prices are fine, but it alienates a good portion of your customers. Complimentary drinks don’t exist because finding a server is impossible. This is probably because the servers have to wait an hour to get their drinks made as well. Walking around you’ll see only a few. I saw maybe 5 the entire time I was there (6 hours). I was questioning this the entire night. Is this a typical Hard Rock thing or just THIS Hard Rock thing? The overall Hard Rock grounds are nice though. I didn’t stay in the rooms or go over to the hotel side, but they look nice. Extremely expensive, but looks nice. Maybe their service is great… for a hotel….not sure?
Excellent Service, but Check-in Process Needs a Tune-up!
I recently visited the Hard Rock Casino and had a generally excellent experience. The service was top-notch, with friendly and attentive staff throughout the property.
However, the check-in process was a bit of a letdown. There were long lines and a lack of clear communication about the wait time. It took us a while to get checked in, which was frustrating after a long drive.
On the other hand, the dining experience was great! We enjoyed a delicious meal at one of the on-site restaurants, with good food and good service.
We also caught a show at the casino, which was thoroughly entertaining. The venue was comfortable, and the performance was top-notch.
Overall, I would recommend the Hard Rock Casino for its excellent service, good dining options, and entertaining shows. However, the check-in process needs some improvement to get to the next level.

Hard Rock Casino Tampa Review
I’ve been visiting Hard Rock Casino in Tampa for years, but lately, the experience has gone downhill. One of the biggest disappointments is that they no longer offer comped hotel nights, not even at their partnership properties. This makes it feel like they’ve completely stopped valuing loyal players.
The service has also taken a serious hit. It’s nearly impossible to find attentive staff, whether on the gaming floor or even in the high-limit room. Speaking of high-limit, that’s one of the only places where they serve free alcohol, but good luck finding someone to actually bring you a drink.
As for the gaming itself, it’s just not what it used to be. Free play is minimal—sometimes just $10, if anything at all. The slot machines are tighter than ever, making it feel impossible to win anymore. The excitement and fun that once made this place special are fading fast.
Hard Rock Tampa should take notes from Immokalee Hard Rock, where they still know how to treat their players right. Better service, better perks, and a more rewarding gaming experience—everything Tampa seems to be forgetting.
Unless things change, it might be time to look elsewhere for a better casino experience.
