We had a leak somewhere in our downstairs bathroom and we thought it was in the slab. I was referred by Mike Scott plumbing to Sleuth, i called and the were able to have a tech out the next day. Philip from Sleuth leak detection came out and found the leak. It was in the wall and was a pipe that was from the hot water end of the hot water heater. Philip was AWESOME. He called in the morning with a window of time to arrive between 4 and 5 pm, as we were told he would by the pleasant young lady who booked us. Then he called when on his way to let us know he would be here in 30 mins, and he arrived just before 4 pm as promised. He was professional and respectful to us and our property, he took his time to explain what he found and then left everything as he found it and cleaned up anything he disturbed. I certainly hope we do not need a leak detection service again however if we do, we will CERTAINLY use Sleuth services again and would request Philip be our tech. I would highly recommend Sleuth Leak detection services and Philip to anyone in need of their services. I honestly cannot say enough good things about the company or our tech Philip. If you find yourself in need of the services of a leak detection company, do not hesitate to call them and especially request Philip.
John C. did a great job today. He was personable, professional, show me data from the water meter, found the leak very quickly. He even put a temporary patch on it while I wait for the plumber to come tomorrow so my water can stay on. John really does a good job of representing your company. Thanks John!!
I had a terrible experience with this company. 1. They sent the technician and claimed that the pool was leaking because of the light and without repairing anything he said that the work was poorly done and charged $350.00. Then I sent another technician to check and he found a leak in the filter because the ring did not seal well. Then this company that was supposed to give me a report with photos and evidence of the detected leak, refused to give them to me and I then asked them to show me the leak to make sure. The technician went and when he was in front of me he could not find the leak from the light and even so they forced me to pay $175 more and even threatened me with fees and collection letters, so I was forced to pay so as not to damage my reputation.
Phillip came to assist us in determining the source of the water leak in our home. Phillip was extremely professional and thorough in his work. He did an excellent job in communicating with us along the way. He arrived on time and took the time he needed to do his job. We really appreciated his expertise. Because of his thoroughness, Phillip determined that we had two different issues going on that were causing our water leak issues. We highly recommend both Phillip, and Sleuth Leak Detection services. A solid 5+ star review!
Great first experience with this company – started to see puddling in our front garden and noticed our water meter running with everything shut off. Got the water turned off temporarily and was able to get Bobby out first thing the following morning. Quickly found the leak, patched it so we could turn the water back on while waiting for a permanent fix from the plumber. Well done and would call again. They also do leak detection for irrigation and pools which we hope we never need but good to know.
