My nurse Cody and Dr. Chen took very good care of me. Amazing bedside manner.
They answered the hundred questions I had for them in great detail.
As did all of the intake people that I did not get their names.
Nice, clean private ER rooms.
For as busy as it was,
the wait did not seem very long.
They took great care of me and I know they will for you too!
The Infusion nurse, I think her name is Kristen, made sure my time there was warm, comforting and positive. She was very attentive and offered lots of physical support. She was kind, helpful and sensitive to any needs that me or my family had or might have. She did all of this with an attitude of caring and compassion. She exemplifies what a nurse should be.
First time receiving care at this hospital location. 10/10 the care received after surgery was amazing. Everyone is so helpful and caring and not just because it’s their job. I would love to come back here if any other procedure is needed. Highly recommend
Through my 60+ years, I’ve only visited hospitals via the front doors – and while no one Wants to go to the hospital, much less be rushed by ambulance to an ER for an emergency Stent to the Heart, I must say, being totally aware of my surroundings during the entire event, and only having any reference from med type tv shows, how pleased I was starting with the Hillsborough Fire Rescue as they assisted & transported me. Then, once within St Joseph’s Hospital North’s ER, again, the level of service, and explanation as I was processed and prepped for my emergency surgery. The Doctors, my cardiologist Dr. Christopher J. Pastore & the nurses were all fantastic as surgery proceeded all while I was awake – yea awake for a heart procedure. Ok, done and up to the ICU, I couldn’t be any more grateful to my two nurses (12hr shifts for continuity of care) both godsends that helped make me feel safe & my wife as comfortable as possible. Over the next few days I’d rest, have a 2nd stent placed, continue to be monitored, and upon the ok of my cardiologist, released. As I said, in all my years I’ve never been a patient, but for a first time, I couldn’t have been any luckier or more fortunate that I found my way to St. Joseph’s Hospital North. With my life, I Thank you all, Steven
My husband was sent to the ER at St. Joseph North Hospital from an injury. He was treated with respect and dignity by the finest, professional medical staff we had ever seen! Parking was a breeze and well lit and the Emergency entrance was marked well. The hospital was very clean and efficient in every way! Everyone we came in contact with was so kind, caring, professional and attentive.
PA Chris B (EMA) was outstanding! He was so kind, helpful, knowledgeable, trustworthy and professional. He explained things along the way so we understood the severity of the emergency situation at hand. He ran on-site tests to make a determination of medical treatment. He took the time needed with my husband to explain his medical emergency and the treatment that would ensue. My husband never felt rushed or pushed through, but instead, PA Chris B took the time needed for complete assessment and outstanding medical care.
Marisa P. was the nurse who assisted with the medical vitals and she was so efficient! She provided comfort while she performed the stats needed for the PA. She was professional, yet personable, and made us both feel very comfortable, taking the time to answer our questions along the way.
It was truly a wonderful, experience, even though we had an unexpected medical emergency, we both felt comforted, seeing the efficiency of everyone we came in contact with. We knew we were in good hands at St Joseph North.
