Talking Tacos on Fowler Avenue is a clean, well-maintained restaurant with a welcoming atmosphere. One of the standout features was that the space was completely free of smoking and vaping, which made for a much more enjoyable dining experience.
The ordering process was modern and innovative, with a user-friendly kiosk system that made customizing our meals easy and efficient. The customer service was friendly, and the staff was attentive, ensuring we had everything we needed. However, the wait time for our food was longer than expected—over 25 minutes—which was a bit disappointing. Faster service would definitely enhance the experience.
That being said, the overall visit was delightful, and we truly appreciated the cleanliness, great ambiance, and fresh flavors. Looking forward to visiting again!

We got the loaded street corn nachos (with beans instead of meat), and even as someone who’s not big on nachos, I loved them. Our burritos (bean and Cali) were fresh, flavorful, and filling. The horchata and lemonade we ordered were super tasty (I’m gonna need an endless supply of that horchata) I will say that the drinks were on the pricier side (considering no refills) and keep in mind that there is no standard drink options- just their house-made stuff, bottled water, bottled soda.
Portions were solid, and even though we’re an hour away, we’ll definitely be back!
If you’re in Florida and love tacos, Talkin’ Taco is an absolute must-visit! We stopped by for a late lunch and were completely blown away by how incredible the food was. We ordered the Birria Tacos and their new Crunch Wrap with Birria, and both were beyond amazing. The birria was packed with rich, deep flavors, tender, and perfectly seasoned. The crunch wrap was a game-changer crispy, cheesy, and loaded with juicy birria that took it to another level. Every bite was a perfect balance of textures and flavors. You can tell that they use fresh ingredients and put a lot of care into their recipes.
We were so impressed that we have now made it our official rule that every time we visit Florida, we must stop at Talkin’ Taco. Honestly, we just wish they would open a location in Chicago because we’d be their regulars in no time! A place like this would be a huge hit in the Windy City.
What made our experience even better was the exceptional service. Our host and server, Angi & Kali, were absolutely amazing. From the moment we walked in, they greeted us with warm smiles and positive energy. They helped us decide what to order, and their recommendations were spot on! It’s clear that they love what they do and genuinely care about making customers happy. Their friendliness and attentiveness made us feel right at home.

My son took me here. Definitely a spot to try! Explosion of flavors and great variety of items. The decor is super cute and the place is laid back. Shout out to Jacob who provided excellent customer service from when we walked in to when we left!
Everyone wants to try a place that they seen on TikTok!! We almost hesitated but glad we came in. The vibe in this place is kicking. I felt like I needed to get on some dance floor.
Please look at the menu ahead of time and be aware that you are ordering your food on a kiosk not from a human person. If you don’t like machines, you might get discouraged. But, I got you…do your homework…know what you want to eat, so you get up to that machine and order and pay….and not hold up the line.
Food is amazing…I had the street nachos and it got all my fixes and my son got the veggie tacos and he was super happy! It’s a very different combination of food that you don’t get elsewhere.
One of the best part about this place which most places are lacking these days is the customer service. Everyone was so friendly and made sure we were taking care of.
Go try this place out and make sure you have an appetite because the portions are huge! Definitely coming back when we come to Tampa!
