Dr. Upshaw is a great Psychiatrist. As a therapist, he is great to work with (and refer to) in that he is super collaborative and always there to provide helpful clinical insights. It’s hard to find psychiatrists that are willing to make themselves so available and work so closely with other people involved in his patients’ treatment.
I’m really impressed this group. The Dr and PA are amazing! I actually feel like they care about the patient. I feel they listen and they work as a team with outside providers. Thank you Dr U and Lea! You have restored my faith in mental health care. My family member has a very difficult case and they handle it with grace and always make me feel better providing truth. They don’t push meds and they take time listening
I started seeing Dr. Upshaw originally for TMS treatment in 2019 and almost immediately switched to his private practice from my BayCare psychiatrist and have been with TBP ever since. I have had a fantastic experience with him and his staff. They literally saved my life. Cannot recommend them enough!

I had an issue with my medication and they got back to me so quickly and were so informative and helpful and kind. I am so happy to be a patient here with people who actually care.
