The Current hotel is one of my city favorites now. I really enjoyed my stay. The ocean view was amazing, the beds are very comfortable, and the complementary champagne was a very nice gesture at check-in.
Cleanliness is top-tier throughout the entire hotel; the floors are spotless, very impressive, and I most certainly approve of the coffee. Not one complaint.
Next time, I look forward to enjoying one of the restaurants. I was not able to indulge, but I do highly recommend this hotel for great service and nice quality.
My stay here was excellent. Upon check-in I was offered complimentary wine or champagne. My room was clean and had a great view. All of the employees I encountered throughout my stay were friendly. The pool area was very nice and there was a small private “beach” area. However, the “beach” is very small and is really just an area to sit and watch the bay. The location is a little far from downtown, but it is convenient if you have to go to the airport. Overall, I recommend staying at this hotel.
I recently stayed at The current hotel Tampa and had an amazing experience. From the moment I arrived, the staff was incredibly welcoming and attentive, making check-in smooth and hassle-free.
The room was spacious, clean, and well-equipped with all the necessary amenities. The bed was exceptionally comfortable, and I had a great night’s sleep. The housekeeping team did a fantastic job maintaining the room throughout my stay.
The hotel’s location was perfect—close to major attractions and public transport, making it easy to explore the city. The on-site restaurant offered a delicious breakfast with a variety of options, and the service was top-notch.
One of the highlights was the hotel’s facilities, including a well-maintained gym and a relaxing pool area. It was the perfect place to unwind after a day of sightseeing.
Overall, I highly recommend [Hotel Name] for its excellent service, prime location, and comfortable accommodations. I will definitely be returning on my next visit!
So the hotel itself was STUNNING. The views of the Bay was so pretty. I just wish that the hotel lived up to how it looked.
Our Room:
As soon as I entered my door, I went to use the bathroom. The door was a little hard to close, but it eventually did. Then I tried to open the door, and I panicked. The door wouldn’t open. My husband had to help me leave the bathroom. My husband also tried to see if it was a fluke and had trouble getting out. One person got so stuck, the door has to be taken off the track to get her out. From then on the door was stuck open. This was not the only problem though. I had the blind chain unhook and we had to leave the blinds open all night. Not ideal. It took a bit but my husband fixed it after manually closing the blinds and seeing the unhooked chain. Also, when housekeeping came into our room, they took the towels, emptied the trash, and didn’t make the bed? I’m still not sure why they didn’t. The towels were left in the corridor for the entire hallway until the next morning. Mind you, I’m talking getting back to the room at 11pm to them there from hours before. The door to our room also was super heavy and loud when trying to open and close. My mother came to the room to talk to me and was confused since her room was not like that.
The Hotel Amenities:
After the wedding we attended, we were looking to go to the hotel bar (not Casa Cami). The website says they are open until Midnight, and they were, on Thursday. Friday at 11pm, they were closed for some reason. My husband even double checked the website and it said it was open until midnight (you can even check yourself).
Finally, this was the wedding block so a ton of family and friends were there and unfortunately they had issues as well. One person’s blinds completely came off the wall and fell. One had a completely dead door lock upon arrival. Another was able to clearly hear their neighbor’s kid at 6am. I know in the bride and groom’s suite, they never cleaned up the trash in it. They only made the bed and did towels. When they came back from their wedding, the trash was still there smelling up the room.
The current hotel is an excellent place to stay.
Great food. Great staff… and one of the best views I’ve ever had of the water in the Tampa area at a hotel.
Every issue we had was rectified quickly by the staff.
We were particularly impressed by Kat at the hotel restaurant. She was super kind, appreciative and really made us feel welcome.
Looking forward to staying here again soon.
