My 15 year old Little Brother and I had a lot of fun here! It cost $85-90 for one hour in an escape room for two people. There is a foosball table available to use as one waits for their room to be set up. We definitely plan to go back again, but for the following few reasons, I have given a 4-star rather than a 5-star rating.
The Negatives:
The only parking lot nearby costs money (about $12) to use.
Unless you are highly experienced or pressing the hint button every few seconds, there is no way you will get through an entire room in one hour.
Apparently, they do offer two hour excursions, but I didn’t see this on their website, and when our hour was up, and we were maybe about halfway through the room, we were not offered an additional hour for an additional fee.
The computer for the escape room I booked was not functioning properly, so we were given a choice between three other options. Additional time / money off was not offered for the inconvenience.
We did two rooms – Retro Arcade and Infirmary. They were both AWESOME!! The clues all flowed and made sense. It was challenging but not frustrating. We made it out of both. Would HIGHLY recommend these rooms. Our host JM was fantastic!! We will definitely be going back.
Update: We did the Colosseum room. It was AWESOME!!! Maddie was super helpful getting us in our room and JM was our game master they were both fantastic!! The room was super cool, unlike any other room we have done. Thank you for a fun date night. We will be back (again)!
Dave, Katie, and Mekenzie! Were absolutely amazing this was our first time doing an escape room and we had an absolute blast!! Will definitely do again! We did the retro replay room and couldn’t make it through and did the haunted hotel and finished it before 2minutes was up! We had an absolute blast thank you so much!
Our Game masters David and Katie were super helpful when we went in!!! We enjoyed the first room we did so much we decided to do a second room the same night!!!! 10/10 definitely going back soon!!!!
EDIT: We had an opportunity to play the Retro Replay room and I can say with confidence it was one of the top 3 best escape rooms we have done. The room was fun without being overly demanding and the puzzles being tied to the theme made it that much more enjoyable. The staff this time around were exceptionally great. We even went as far as to purchase encore tickets for another room. If that’s not a complete 180 from poor to great, I don’t know what is.
Original review: We did the Colosseum room (2 hour room) and while the puzzles were fun and the experience engaging, there were multiple parts of the puzzle that were not working or already activated. Out of the multiple rooms, one of the rooms was already open before we had the chance to unlock it. One of the puzzles had no parts that were revealed or pieces unlocked upon completion.
It just felt off. There’s more I could talk about but I don’t want to risk spoiling anything. For the price of the game, it left a bad taste in our mouths. For context, we have done more than 20 escape rooms over the years. We have escaped each one.
We were looking forward to trying out the Retro Replay room, but after this experience, we likely won’t return.
