Wonderful visit! Dr. LaBohn is knowledgeable and personable, and his entire staff is pleasant. I went in with foot pain, and after a quick injection I’m feeling no pain at all. I’m very appreciative to have found this practice in Temple Terrace.
I had a very unsettling experience with the Upperline Foot and Ankle Center of Temple Terrace. My primary care physician sent a referral to this office, and Nikki called to set up my appointment. She confirmed all my information and scheduled the appointment.
However, two days before the appointment, I reached out to confirm it, only to be informed that my appointment had been canceled because they do not accept my insurance plan (HMO). I asked why I wasn’t notified about this when Nikki initially called me regarding the referral. She was adamant and contentious, stating that she had informed me of the cancellation.
If she had truly called to tell me the appointment was canceled, I wouldn’t have been trying to confirm it. To make matters worse, during that call, Nikki mentioned that the first visit would cost $145. She explained that, due to my deductible, the office required payment upfront instead of my usual co-pay so they wouldn’t have to wait for the health insurance provider to pay the claim.
They take payment from the patient at the first visit and apply it to future visits. This approach is unacceptable to me, as I have never encountered a provider that operates this way. Consequently, I am now looking for other in-network podiatrists to provide my medical care.
This office is incredible! They care so much about their patients! They were able to get my daughters insurance verified and in for a visit on the same day! Ms. Nikki and Kirsten showed incredible empathy and follow through. Braden is also outstanding and made the xray- process fun even with her toe fracture pain! The doctor is definitely a foot super-star. He was thorough and knowledgeable about her fracture and took the time to explain how to help keep my daughter stable while she healed. I recommend this clinical practice for all ur foot pain and needs. They make a hard situation seem easier to bare.

Just a for instances. I was over an hour early today due to my husband having an earlier VA appointment. I was prepared to wait but they took me right in and I was in and out before my appointment time. Thanks again
Dr. Gutierrez is an amazing Dr. Always very professional, courteous, listens, answers all my questions and concerns plus took great care of me. Very compassionate, kind and always resolves my issues. Very grateful to have him as my Podiatrist.
