We had the opportunity to eat here during our layover in Orlando.

    Pros:

They have plenty of parking and was near our hotel and the restaurant was easy to find.

We had the Fajitas Al Carbon and the Avgave Burrito. Both meals were delicious and full of flavor. They both came with generous portions sizes.

The host and waitress were professional, patient and very attentive.

    Cons:

The atmosphere was nice, however the acoustic in this place was very poor. We were a party of two and stopped in on a Tuesday evening and we had good seating, however it was very difficult to hear the waitress and my dinner mate. It was extremely loud.

Our waitress was so soft spoken and it was very difficult hearing her.

Lighting – it was difficult to read the menu as it was too dark in the place. There were other tables around us using their lights on their phone to read the menu.

Overall, the place has great potential as the staff were very nice, the food was delicious and it’s a great location.

Nice modern vibe. Happy hour was great and so was the food selection. The appetizers were very generous and delicious. The guac was delicious and huge. The squid was also delicious and in large proportion. I enjoyed a chicken dish that was just right. We’re already planning a return.

This was my first time. Went with a friend who’s been before. I’m visiting Orlando so decided to try it. It was almost 7pm on a Friday so was getting packed but we found a table outside. It’s probably best to get a reservation if you really want to go. There were a few seats at the bar but not always guaranteed. So, the food. I ordered the Cali Rice bowl. It said cilantro rice but I didn’t taste the cilantro too too much. It tasted like plain rice underneath a nicely flavored chicken, tomato, cheese and a cilantro sauce. The bonus for me was the cheese quesadilla that came in the bowl also. It WAS good but I expected the rice to have more flavor. They give you the tortillas and chips to start. We ordered the guacamole too. It was perfect. My drink was the Pina Negro….SO GOOD. it’s a must try. Perfect amount of tequila with the sweetness. The service was fast. They work together to get your meal out. The one thing that didn’t happen was the follow up toward the end. We had to get someone else to get our server to bring our check and to go boxes. Just know that once all of your food comes out and you’re eating, it might be a minute before you’re checked on again and that just depends on who it is because there was a lady working the patio also and she gave a little more care to her tables. We were wishing she was our server. All in all a great experience and will definitely be back.

Came for dinner. Nice atmosphere. They give you unlimited chips and salsa. Great service. Food was delicious. A little more pricey than your hole-in-the-wall mom and pops but you’re paying for service here.

I had the chicken enchilada with mole. Not a mole connoisseur but it was delicious and gives a unique flavor to the enchilada. Chicken was nice and moist.

Server very attentive. Highly recommend for a nice date night!

I recently had the pleasure of dining at Agave Azul, and I must say, it was a delightful experience. The atmosphere was excellent, creating a perfect setting for a relaxing meal. William, our server, was attentive and prompt, ensuring we had everything we needed throughout our visit.

The food was good. One positive change is that they no longer charge for chips and salsa, which is a nice touch. I particularly enjoyed their version of an Old Fashioned, which had a wonderful smoky flavor.

We decided to try the Cli bowls. My wife opted for the shrimp version, although she had to add vegetables at an additional cost. I went for the steak version, which was served with about 4 to 5 ounces of thinly sliced steak. Both dishes were satisfying and flavorful.

Overall, our experience at Agave Azul was good. The attentive service, pleasant atmosphere, and enjoyable food make it a place worth visiting again.
