This is a very quiet place, the service in the lobby was good, they were friendly,,,the location is perfect,,but I have to point out something,,,,it is not for young people, it does not have a pool bar, no food in the hotel,,,rooms are very small,,no big hotel ,,,it is very small and the hotel should take this seriously because I think it is very expensive to not have any of these services….I give the advice ….to nearby food places ,to always book in advance,,,if you do not want to wait 1 hour in each place to eat….the hotel is clean and very very quiet, they do not allow music in the pool, I already stated,,,it is not for young people,,,but the only thing that is worth pointing out and very important in its service regarding at price,,,, it is their service in the pool area and having a small restaurant of theirs… that is why for me it is not 5 stars, nor 4… their service is not complete for me and photos online no it is the same when you arrive there…
This is the worst false advertisement I’ve ever experienced. We picked this place out of a bunch of other hotels bc of all the beautiful photos online. It’s nothing like the pictures. It’s a basic hotel room with no decor, nothing not even a pillow on the couch and tiny. Nothing like the photos online with a full kitchen and beautiful decor everywhere. It’s a small room that is cold, not even an area rug. We picked a pool front room, we are in front of a highway. There are no beautiful lounge chairs with umbrellas on the beach either. We called to ask what the heck and the manager is off duty today and the lady at the desk cannot do anything about it. We payed 600 for a 2 night stay and the woman at the desk doesn’t even know if she can refund us for tomorrow because the manager is off work today the woman said and no one is covering him. We will never be back. Save your money and go elsewhere because this is a scam. What a shame we feel so taken advantage of.
Quite, quaint, relaxing and so nice. Beautiful beach and view.
I am writing this review in response to a woman who complained about a bird drinking from the pool. Several exotic (to me) birds descended into the shady and private pool area, standing beside the pool while I was relaxing by the pool. I found this to be charming. In fact, my husband and I felt like our stay at the Anna Maria Island Beach Resort was a precious piece of paradise that we often talk about and remember our stay there (April 2016) with the fondest of memories. Very comfortable beds. Private patio areas. A sandy path beckons guests to follow it to the beach, a very short distance away. Richard took my reservations and answered all my questions before I booked. He was very helpful. He was around if we needed him but didn’t hover. We arrived earlier than expected, and Richard permitted us to check in early. He was very gracious. We loved it there and earnestly hope to go back some day.
We stayed in room 3 for two nights, our reservation was for 4 nights but given the conditions of the room coupled with poor weather we decided to leave early. If the weather had been nice we may have roughed the additional two days. The dishes in the cabinets were not clean and many had food particles stuck to them. The wall above the shower is falling apart, towel bars are falling off the wall. TV remote control doesn’t work. It’s difficult to reach anyone in the office. The people above us were intolerably loud with screaming kids and slamming doors. The proximity to the beach is nice but it’s so close to the public beach that it’s very crowded. I would not stay here again. At almost $200 per night we definitely expected the room to be nicer.
