Would leave a higher star review but all the bathrooms were locked mid day but one. It was a nice pull off point though to get off the road and breathe while looking at the water and chill for a bit. Whiskey Joes is right there as well.
Love going here taking a nice morning walk , love walking on the bridge over the water , plenty of parking , a clean restroom, and long trail to walk . , you can bring a chair and relax, bbq grills available, and plenty of picnic areas , o a good day, you can see dolphins and mammals.
This beach offers lots of paid patking. Pavilions can be reserved for special event. On sunny days it’s packed. Connected to Whiskey Joe’s by land. You can park at Whiskey Joe’s “free” with mandatory $7 gratuity. Restrooms and concessions available. Good for a dip or sunny moment when you don’t want to venture to St Pete or Clearwater Beach and don’t want to pay $30 to park.
Amazing time at the beach. .beautiful place to go and really enjoy yourself and time with your family. Go enjoy a nice relaxing moment, soak up the sun, and take in the tranquil sounds of waves crashing against the shore.
We went to the remote far side of the beach and found a spot really quickly! Because there wasn’t any events happening we got 2hr free parking!! Took plenty of pics and enjoyed the isolated far side of the beach… Not too many people and no kids screaming. It was quiet…a few couples had their music but it wasn’t too loud and there was enough space to spread out! I will definitely come back!!
