The chicken here is so good, people are very friendly too.
Crunchy and tender. So tasty.
Don’t forget to try what they call a donut. Amazing.
Not a fan of the coleslaw.
9/28/24: It’s crowded and packed, service was very slow, but the food were delicious!
Spicy fried chicken was so crunchy and spicy hot.
I especially thank the server and chef for being able to make the japchae a kid-friendly version without the onions and bell peppers.
I really liked the Korean corn but they were out of that.
Orlando, FL. Kdrama fans, it’s chicken and beer night! They also have great soju flavors. Near hotels and the airport, this surprising taste of Korea brightened our date night. Great seasoning on everything, it was all delicious. I’m picky about my kim chi (sometimes they add sugar in America) but it was perfect here!
By a fluke, there was only one server tonight, Hilda, and the host told us apologetically that service might be slow but that was not the case. Hilda did a great job even though it was a Friday night. She bustled about but never lost her cool.
So this chain started in Korea! We’re big Kdrama fans. There was tteokboki on the menu, plus bao sandwiches, jap chae, spicy pork, and galbi. But the big deal was the fried chicken. They fry it and brush on your choice of sauce. The chicken pieces were huge!
My only wish was for more banchan (Korean side dishes, full of probiotics and vitamins) on the menu. They only offered kim chi or pickled radishes. I’d be happy to pay $15 for brown rice plus Korean bean sprouts, potato cubes in gochujang, black beans, rolled egg, and eggplant. But this is a place for partiers.
We’ll be back. Highly recommend!
The best fried chicken in the world. No one beats bonchon. So crispy and tasty. Especially the soy garlic which is my fav and the Korean BBQ for my man. It seems far away from me but it’s always worth the drive.
