We were seated immediately before the dinner rush. Customer service was good. The food was enough to share. My only issue was the mac n cheese was on the luck warm side. If you get it ask them to make sure it is hot. Everything else was delicious!
We went for an early dinner and everything was excellent. The food came out quickly which was a bonus with our 3 young kids. Our kids loved their mac cheese, fries, and baked beans. My husband and I slpit the nachos with brisket. Our 14 month old LOVED everything we offered him. My parents got pulled pork, brisket, and ribs that did not disappoint either. Our server, Eric, was fantastic as well. Very quick to take care of all our needs and very helpful with recommendations on things to do in the area.
it’s a nice addition to Icon Park. The staff was friendly but very slow due to the how busy they were. The atmosphere is very nice. It’s cozy and reminds you of a down home bbq. As far as the food, I had the brisket and it didn’t have a lot of flavor to my liking. My son was not impressed with his burger and said it needed seasoning. The ribs were good but the greens were a miss. The sweet tea was good. They do offer a free kids meal with an adult purchase and the kid’s meal was a decent size. I loved the music playing in the restaurant. It was Christian contemporary which is a nice change and they had karaoke outside which drew people to come in. Overall, it’s a place to give a try .
My daughter, along with her family are in town for spring break, and after a full day of Icon Park, we found ourselves famished. So, we started following our noses to Brother Jimmy’s.
Eric quickly seated us, got a highchair for the littlest grand, and took our order. Our food came out fast, and hot. Everyone left with boxes – the portions are huge. Pulled pork, brisket, ribs, and nachos will be a great leftover for lunch tomorrow.
Eric is an excellent example of customer service! If you are blessed to get assigned to his section – you’ll have the best.
We came across this place the day after hurricane Milton so it was very busy with many other placed closed. That said we got a table pretty quick. Server was friendly and service was very quick once food ordered. Very nice food overall. I probably ordered a bit much as portions very big. Nice bbq experience with reasonable pricing.
