Great skatepark, it’s not too big, but it has a nice design. The parking lot can fill up fast, but there’s spots all around. There’s even a pump track next to it which is nice. Weekends are the busiest, so you might want to get there early.
This is my favorite playground! It has the main playground, a splash pad, a skate park, a bike track with hills, lots of sidewalks to skate on, a ninja warrior course, a dog park, and an adult exercising equipment area. It also has multiple bathrooms and lots of green space to rip around and play. My favorite is the bridge where there are lots of turtles- pro tip- let a turtle see you and come to you and then wait for the others. We saw about 10 turtles come to us and it was magical- they are such gentle creatures.
scooters should be allowed at every skatepark. it is just as much of a sport as bmx and skating. i just got kicked out for no reason. they said they were watching us in the rain and the once a few little kids on bikes showed up with their dad they came out and kicked us out. we were sharing the park and all was well. no reason scooters should be discriminated against.
Very cool small pump track at the skatepark!
The skaters are super chill and quiet. There were probably like 10-15 people there when I went and they were all minding their own business and just skating. It was like 95° when I went (July) -BRING WATER. they have an outdoor water fountain a few feet away but its warm water. But at least it’s there! Take breaks under the shade if you have to.
I’m glad I found this little park, I’d love to come back when I visit florida again and practice some more!
Fantastic skate Park, helmeta are enforced for kids, and the people are super nice
